A real hiking hostel: Functional, simple rooms with a toilet and shower in the hallway, but everything is spotlessly clean. The landlady cooks really well and the pilsners are perfectly tapped.

We were Mrs. Reichert's guests for one night on our bike tour and were well looked after: a cool arrival beer on the terrace, a delicious dinner and a rich breakfast in the morning.Ms. Reichert was very helpful and knows exactly what hikers need on foot or by bike. Our bikes were safely stored, the water bottles were filled and taking a sandwich with us on the go was no problem - just great!

We found the only terrace in this village during a bike ride. However, it seemed closed, but when you ring the bell, the hospitable lady will open the door and start the service.

Ms. Reichert is a great host. We ate dinner, spent the night and had breakfast in their inn. Ms. Reichert took our special dietary requirements into account and gave us helpful tips for the hike. An optimal stay on the Eifelsteig.

Although we were not booked into Gasthof Reichert, hence cannot rate the rooms, but Frau Reichert's spontaneous welcome and willingness to serve us supper although she had a full house to attend to, was heart-warming. We were booked into another establishment and felt somewhat unhappy but Frau Reichert took all of the negativity away by her straightforward and warm hospitality. Thank you!

A family guesthouse with a lovely landlady full of wit and humor. Very, very clean and cozy rooms, a damn good kitchen with freshly prepared food. Moderate prices... what more could guests want? Here you are warmly welcomed and looked after.

Went there spontaneously with 3 motorcyclists on the Pentecost weekend. Nice first impression when we were welcomed outside. My room was clean and tidy, not very modern but very decent value for money. We chose a shared shower and toilet, they were a bit small, but completely sufficient and clean. We ate the famous meatloaf with fries, three times, which was great! One more beer in our own restaurant and the evening was over. The night was quiet, as was the location in Kordel, if you need action in the evening you're in the wrong place. Breakfast the next morning was very good, I like it sweet, the selection wasn't that big, everything else was there and plentiful. We had a nice chat with the boss, paid the bill and happily started our journey home. Thank you Ms. Reichert! Ideal for hikers to spend the night!
