We have eaten at Gasthaus Wollscheid several times and it is always delicious. This time the Bavarian specialties were particularly great! The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening.This time our waiter Kevin was particularly notable. He was extremely friendly, easy-going, attentive and always had a smile on his face. Kevin recommended some dishes to us, which we then tried and it was a pleasure!I can highly recommend this restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

The rooms were incredibly clean and tidy. With wonderfully soft beds!The staff was extremely friendly. And when it comes to food, you don't have to look far. We ate here every evening during our stay. The meat is very soft and tasty. The prices are also very affordable for the rooms and the food in the evening!The breakfast in the morning is more than sufficient. More than enough choice, and otherwise something can always be arranged on request. More than enough to start the day.A good base for a visit to Trier. But after a day of sightseeing in the city you can retreat to this peaceful and rural environment.

The Gasthaus Wollscheid had very modern furnishings and friendly and bright rooms. Mr. Wollscheid Junior was very nice and responded to many of my wishes. I'm already looking forward to my next stay in the guesthouse and hotel

Quiet hotel with a terrace for dining. Copious and quality meals and breakfast. We had the large studio which is super spacious. The hotel is very clean. The welcome is excellent, and the service is top notch. If I have to go back to Trier, I'll go back!

So when I paid, I only found out that the toilet and shower were not in the room. Additionally, there were people there who were in the toilet and it didn't smell good.I was told I could order a double room, which is expensive, so that the room has a shower and a toilet, but these rooms are all occupied, the room I had had the foam, a youth hostel, nothing more, plus a restaurant, that was it I'm not thrilled because I'm traveling for a long time for work

We sat very nicely in the cozy garden and even though it was the middle of the week; all tables occupied.The food (cordon bleu and meatloaf) was just as you would expect in a home-style restaurant. Very tasty and no frills.The portions were generous and the salad was also dressed with a good dressing.That's why I don't really understand some of the reviews here. However, if you expect star cuisine at the price of home-style cooking, you should keep looking.In any case, we were extremely satisfied and our waitress, a young lady, was super attentive, friendly and absolutely confident. We'll definitely be back.

We were looking for a restaurant for our daughter's baptism that also offered catering. Although it doesn't deliver, it can be transported really well packaged in your own car. From the initial communication to the menu, everything worked great. But the best part of all was the food. The kitchen did an excellent job. Thanks to Mr. Wollscheid's team, we really had a worthy meal for our guests away from home. Any time. Many thanks to the whole team.
