I quickly booked a fitter, everything was no-nonsense and uncomplicated. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the room at short notice (the fitter was ready quicker). Although I no longer expected this to be possible, the late cancellation was easily accepted and all without any fees or costs. I find this to be extremely customer-friendly. I would like to give it 5 stars for this! Thank you!

Each time the service got worse, employees on the hotline telephone are not trained and sometimes do not know what the night access code for late arrivals means (then there is no need for a hotline if you have to explain your job to the employees as a guest). The rooms got worse each time as the price increased. Last time (in an aparthotel!) the room was without a kitchen, a complaint regarding this. It was dismissed that the rooms “only have a kitchen for longer stays”. Nice, but then we always hit the jackpot the countless times before when there was always a kitchen available... Is that why we got a price reduction? None. Room safe didn't work either…

The cleaners were caught taking pictures of receipts. I have no idea what the point/use behind it is, but it's unpleasant. In addition, we and many others often couldn't get in at night because of some disturbance. And the nearest employee/caretaker is of course 30 minutes away.

Is this the hotel where Rob Pilatos from Milie Vanilie commited suicide? I am wondering if it's a good place to die!

The hotel is an imposition. Everything is worn out, the toilet seat in the bathroom is broken, there is mold everywhere in the shower. The breakfast rolls, which have to be from the day before and then baked again, are the winner. This is shameless and bold. I was with you for the last time, I promise.

We stayed at the Arkadia for 5 nights in a penthouse suite on the 4th floor. What an interesting hotel! The decor is probably 1990s and could seriously use an update. …

We were here for the second time and would generally come back at any time. Nothing has changed in terms of the furniture. It's definitely not contemporary but serves its purpose. …
