Hotel Post Rosbach

Very simple hotel, renovation delay.Could use some TLC.

The hotel is very old. The rooms are very simply furnished. We couldn't use the closet, it smelled very musty. The rooms and the hallway are covered with a carpet that is also very old. There are mold stains on the tiles in the shower in the bathroom, and the rails of the shower enclosure were thickly covered with dirt. The windows of the shower enclosure are totally stained and covered in limescale. It was the worst hotel we have ever booked. In terms of price, the hotel is in the "high" school compared to the performance. Overall, the hotel is behind in renovations.We can't rate breakfast, we had breakfast in the bakery around the corner. The hotel does not offer breakfast due to staff shortages.We saw the hotel owner very briefly when checking in. We only had 1 night. There was no one there when we checked out in the morning. WiFi was also not available, although it is described on the homepage.Long story short...once and never again.

Decent hotel, everything worked. wifi was good. Parking space for small vans available. Room 13 is large with two small beds. 60€ per night as of 03/24. Bathroom was ok, except for the shower, which was slowly getting used to it. Mold stains on the tiles, holes visible behind the fittings. Location is good, relatively quiet, plenty of shopping opportunities around.

Unfortunately it was a total failure, the door was very difficult to open and close and was hanging on the carpet.There was a strong smell of smoke in the bathroom and the shower tray was moldy.There is no breakfast, but there is a coffee machine... But we didn't use it in the public area...I wouldn't book again, price performance was very poor!

I booked at the Hotel Post from May 19th to May 21st, 2023. Since the trip was canceled, canceled free of charge. Of course there is corresponding confirmation. Then, on May 19, 2023, the hotel debited an amount of €52 from my credit card, despite a timely free cancellation. Apologies or contact from the hotel for the error of the unauthorized booking FAILURE. After I contacted the hotel by phone about this, I was rudely barked at on the phone on my two calls without an apology. Information from the hotel, do not have credit card details, need bank details after Booking also requested the hotel to collect the amount incorrectly. So bank details were sent twice (although the hotel's accounting department should actually have the data since they debited from the credit card - it's questionable why no chargeback can be made and bank details are needed), no response to the first email. Then emailed again. 5 days have passed since then, no response to emails received, amount still not returned. Because it's all international calls, it now takes 1 hour and a good €15 in telephone costs. When you experience this, you wonder what is serious and wonderfully uncomplicated (slogan on the homepage) about this hotel.Conclusion, hotel has unauthorized access on May 19th. debited, In the last 1.5 weeks 3 x by phone, 3 x by email Refund of the unauthorized payment requested. Then, at the hotel's request, bank details were sent for transfer, there was no response, no refund so far for the hotel's unauthorized booking.And why doesn't the hotel come to me and correct its mistake? Is there speculation here that guests will not notice the booking and will not ask for the money back that was wrongly debited from them? Is that customer service? Why do I have to chase after the money and constantly insist on repayment?There can only be negative stars and absolutely no recommendation

Just rubbish, no breakfast

The Hotel Post is by far the worst hotel I've ever had the pleasure of spending a night in! Please take a minute to read my review so you don't make the same mistake and book a room there!The entire shower is black mold!This can also be found around the window frameWhen I then quite sensibly asked the staff or even the owner of the hotel about it (he didn't want to pretend to be an owner or an employee) all they said was stupid saying that I was welcome to leave the hotel if I had a problem with itOf course, I tried to continue to have a conversation with the person in question, but he just became aggressive and moved away from meBecause of my job, I sleep in about 4-5 different hotels a week and I unfortunately have to say that I have never come across such a bad hotelI can only strongly advise you not to book this horrible hotel! You'll regret itIt makes more sense to sleep in a gas station toiletYou will even be treated better there
