The place itself is great. Everything is located under trees and you can get to Munich city center in 40 minutes by bus and S-Bahn. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were really poor. Everything is old and worn out. But the staff was friendly and the price was ok.

We stayed there for one night on the way back from Italy to Germany. This was the only campsite where I didn't look at any reviews beforehand (unfortunately). The lady at the reception was very reserved and gave us the deposit of 20 euros then snatched over 50 euros. This deposit is still a mystery to me. In my opinion, the price for such a campsite is far too high. We were allowed to stand in a seat of our choice. Because it was the end of the season, the pitches were pretty muddy and there were absolutely no paths lit at all. It wasn't explained to you where the sanitary facilities were. The sanitary facilities are old and creepy - at least for the women the toilets were okay (for the men it was probably really bad). There are also people on the site who can camp and a large tent where loud music was playing and food was being prepared. Because I wasn't told anything about it, I don't really understand the concept yet. You can definitely hear the street. For us definitely - once and never again.

Stay away from this camp. Its got nothing to do with actual munich oktoberfest. Absolutely filthy. Pointless asking staff for help as all drunk . Very costly mistake booking this site. Spent one horrendous night and booked hotel for remainder of our stay. Lesson learned.

We have never seen such a bad campsite. Washhouse from the 70s, run down to the point where it no longer works, showers sometimes only separated by flabby curtains and so unclean, unbelievable.Every rest area on the motorway is cleaner during peak travel times! When checking in, the service was unfriendly, questions were only answered reluctantly, no service! Stand wherever you want, you will find electricity. Understood! That's what you want after a long journey. The place is full of rubbish, muddy, untidy and they outrageously charge you 34.50 euros PLUS 20 deposits (for Whatever???). An impudence. We would never recommend this place! And NEVER come BACK!!!!!!

Very nice green space with lots of trees and hedges. Pitches are big enough. Good connection to the motorway. But: the sanitary facilities are a bit old and were not cleaned during our stay. The toilets were very dirty with all kinds of excretions… Quite loud due to the proximity to the motorway.

Absolute disaster. The campsite is full of run-down long-term campers, turning on loud bass music in the middle of the night, drinking and shouting loudly. The washrooms are also run down and dirty. Recreation? Here? No, really not!

I've been staying at Campingplatz Obermenzing over Oktoberfest and Springfest every year for the past 3 years, and nothing beats it. I've not yet had the pleasure to stay there in the summer, but I'm sure it's even more beautiful!Easy to get into the city by public transportation, and the Camp Biss bar has very friendly staff, and if you're lucky you'll be any to try your hand at a darts game against the owner!

We only used the campsite for one night (we were in transit). At the same time the Oktoberfest was in Munich, which meant there was a lot of traffic at the campsite. There were a lot of tents set up at the back of the campsite in which a lot of young Oktoberfest visitors spent the night. It was very loud on the square in the evening/night. There was very loud music playing around the clock (unfortunately I can't say whether it came from the campsite or from visitors), and the screaming from the young people was very loud.If you visit the campsite during Oktoberfest, you may want to take this into account.I wouldn't use the sanitary facilities unless absolutely necessary! They were really very old and contaminated with all kinds of bodily waste. Unfortunately, I cannot judge what the facilities look like outside of the Oktoberfest season. The campsite has very good transport connections (directly on the A8) - you can get to the center very quickly by bus/train.For one night (with a motorhome), without electricity, we paid €57.30€ per night+ 7€ Oktoberfest surcharge+20 € deposit (why this is charged is a mystery to me), you get this back on the day of departure after presenting proof of payment. The pitches are separated from each other by hedges, but are very uneven and rather problematic for anyone without hydraulic lifting supports. In general, the place makes a very loveless impression and seems to me like a meadow with trees and hedges - but far away from the well-kept campsite. All in all, we will most likely not drive to the campsite again. I think you could get far better campsites/sites for this price.

Pretty dirty, probably because of the Oktoberfest. Staff rather unfriendly. There was noise all night because of “Stoketoberfest”, but they had announced that beforehand.
