Excellent apartment (Enzian) on the ground floor, very spacious and fully equipped, such as a separate living room, bedroom, kitchen-diner and bathroom with bath/shower. The apartment had its own entrance and private garden with chairs. We and our dog felt right at home. A good price for a week for such a large, spacious apartment. The dog and spa tax will be paid in cash during the stay. The spa tax seems a bit high, but you get a guest card for that and you can take the tooth train to the Eibsee, Zugspitze cable car and Garmisch Partenkirchen for free, which saves a lot of parking costs.

Nice little apartment, has pretty much everything you need . You can also cook if you don't want to go out. Not far from a lot of attractions. Could use a little more TLC. The toilet seat was very loose and I encountered 2 roaches on different occasions, I can provide pictures but it's gross. To me the bed was to hard and so were the couch and the chair in the living room ,could not get comfortable. The little terrace doesn't really look like in the pictures, just plain. And yes, the parking sucksOverall it was ok.

Everything worked out for us. We stayed in the “Silberdistel” apartment with a very large balcony. The view was really beautiful and the apartment was very clean and nicely furnished.

We really liked the accommodation, which is very suitable for animals and the rooms are very well furnished and large. The view from the very large balcony was wonderful of the Zugspitze. We would like to come back here. Thank you

Apartment "Almrausch"The period of our stay was the end of May to the beginning of June.Excellent location. There are many hiking trails in the area. Whatever the weather, there is something to do in Grainau or the surrounding areas. Information brochures are located at the entrance and in each information center. With the guest card, public transport is free (read the conditions of the card). A quaint, traditional village house. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Roller shutters on the windows (except in the bathroom). A fairly well-equipped kitchen that has almost everything except cutting boards, scissors and salad bowls. You have to bring your own kitchen accessories such as dishwashing sponges, towels (there is only one), rags, garbage bags, etc. In the bathroom there are two towels per person and a hairdryer. There was even a toilet cleaner in the toilet, but only a roll of toilet paper. A spacious wardrobe with lots of hangers. Another advantage for us is self-check-in and check-out.A double door to the room ensures that noises from the lobby cannot be heard. We didn't notice any particular noises from the parking lot under the windows. It was the usual everyday noise that you have at home.The parking lot is really tight but you can always find a spot.Special features that require additional effort, but do not spoil the stay:In the bathroom there is a floor-to-ceiling window that spans the entire wall and no blinds. In the evening you can cover the window with a portable screen, which you have to remove in the morning so that it is not dark in the bathroom. The bathroom actually needs a renovation. The shower cubicle closes a bit awkwardly, but it closes. The faucet in the shower needs to be replaced because it is not easy to regulate the water temperature.🏞️One week is definitely not enough to visit all the sights. When the weather is good you can spend the whole day at the lake with crystal clear water. Unfortunately we weren't lucky with the weather, but we still had a wonderful time.

Even though the view from the room on the ground floor wasn't great, the room was very warm and cozy. The kitchen had everything needed and had a very rustic faucet. The panoramic path to Eibsee begins right behind the house. The house is very quiet. It was a very successful, wonderful vacation.

The house has the best mountain views of the entire place. Nice large balcony for sunbathing and having breakfast with loungers. Quietly located, and behind the house you can walk straight up to a large alpine pasture with a panoramic view. Dog friendly. Negative: The dishes are so high above the corner bench on the shelves that I couldn't reach them! It was also difficult to get to the corner bench because there is little space between the table and the high step. The kettle was broken. The replacement wasn't usable either. The light in the bathroom is bad. You can only see half of the face. There is flooding when showering because the shower is not tight. Drain clogged, overflowing. There is also no window or exhaust fan in the toilet. It stinks for hours. The bed is so high that you have to put a stool there to climb up. The duvet is too thin without a wool blanket over it. It's a shame that there is no dishwasher. The owner was a bit unfriendly to me. I would still go there again because of the peace and quiet and because the bed is comfortable. It is important to open the envelope on the table as soon as you arrive, otherwise the guest card will expire without registration.

I personally don't know what it's like on the upper floors, but on the lower floor it's not as beautiful as expected. There are cockroaches on every corner in the apartment. Just today a large one was found dead on the lamp. There are certainly better hotels nearby. However, the view is very nice. In my opinion, it's not really recommended (on the first floor).

We had a very nice holiday apartment in Haus Steinbrech, with two balconies, so you could always find a nice place to sit outside, just great…From the large balcony with a view of the Zugspitze, breakfast tasted even better...Grainau is a beautiful old place that is also ideal for families with children, you don't always have to have a hiking destination, you can also enjoy the day in the really picturesque outdoor pool and there is also a nice playground right opposite the outdoor pool...

We had a beautiful and well-equipped holiday apartment, large balcony with a breathtaking view of Zugspitze and Alpspitze. There is a sauna in the house, everything is clean and well maintained, arrival and departure is easy. Oh yes, I almost forgot something else important... the dog was very welcome, even an extra drying towel was provided. Landlords are on site every day, communication is friendly and accommodating.

Very nice location. Excellent, spacious apartment. However, service is very poor and you have to pay extra for everything (reserving parking spaces, sauna, early checkin - while apartment was already available). Parking is always a drama on a very narrow site. There are not enough parking spaces for the apartments and these must be reserved for a fee (on site!).Towels are not replaced as standard (for a stay of 8 days) and even asking for toilet paper causes quite a discussion.In short, great place and good location. Parking dramatic. Service really below par.

In the lovingly furnished and very clean Enzian apartment, the two of us with our dog felt at home. Everything we needed was there and, as a cherry on top, there is also a large sauna in the basement that you can use after a nice hike - simply perfect!The location is also excellent - in just 3.6km you can reach the Eibsee on foot, the mountains are practically on your doorstep and in 5 minutes you can reach the bus at the village square or in about 8 minutes the cog railway if you go to the Eibsee or the Zugspitze or want to go in the other direction to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. What was particularly nice for us with dogs was that the apartment had a small garden area that we could use to play football and that there was a forest path right behind the house and there were no other houses there.The people in the area were all very friendly, including the dog. It's also great that you get a guest card that includes some public transport and the dog is also included.
