I really don't know who writes these reviews!The youth hostel is simply great. From a family's perspective:We arrived and there was relatively little going on. The good man at reception checked us in really well and helped everyone wherever he could.Checked into the room, everything was fine. Big room. Lots of space.The beds are very comfortable and the condition of all of them is used, but completely ok. Stop at the youth hostel.As we continued, we made use of the large collection of games and spent our time in the great garden. The children also really enjoyed it and ran around a lot.There are actually only residential buildings around the youth hostel. The area is extremely quiet and overall a good retreat.The good man at reception helped with lots of little things and was always there to help us. Great service.The hostel is particularly recommended for families and individual travelers.

Service was great. The person who checked me in was very chatty, which was nice. Got a little lost on the way here, which made me late. The room was nice but compact. Other guests were a little noisy, but I didn't mind. The location was good, a little far from the DB station, but it was close to the centre. Would come back again.

The youth hostel was beautifully located and was very friendly, but the rooms were a little worn out. I also heard a loud moan during the night and suddenly it was in the green area.

Everything OK and clean.Above all, the staff was great - very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was lovingly prepared. We didn't lack anything.

Anyone who is used to the Burj Al Arab in Dubai will be disappointed, everyone else can enjoy the clean rooms, the great service, the rich breakfast and much more! Thank you!Very happy again!

One of the older generation of youth hostels

I give this place zero stars because I had already read the reviews before and I was scared. When we got into the rooms I first looked under the mattresses and in the cupboards, there were lots of mysterious black spots under the mattress, the mattress should then be reupholstered😂 and was then supposedly replaced. At first I didn't want to lie down because I was disgusted, but in the end I had to pay €300 for this "great youth hostel". The beds are also absolutely uncomfortable. I'm 1.72 and I barely fit into this bed. After my 3rd day of stay I noticed red bloody bite marks on my body and I immediately started the journey home. Today I visited the doctor who prescribed an ointment and advised me to wash all my clothes. If you have booked here then cancel as quickly as you can. (I'm traumatized)

A fever dream of a youth hostelI have diarrhea and vomited from eatingThere is only rice and overcooked noodlesThe rooms are real shacks, the bathroom has black mold and the rooms are small, dirty and cheaply furnishedThe bed linen is yellow as if it was last changed when the Berlin Wall fellSorry is an imposition for everyone

I'm still in the youth hostel and I have to give 5 stars for everything.Rooms are clean and intact, food is plentiful and tasty. But the best thing is really the friendliness and willingness to help! I am here as a teacher with the school and unfortunately I am ill. Tea was made for me, food was provided despite it being outside of meal times and, above all, I was allowed to stay in the room on the day of departure so that my colleagues could carry out the rest of the program. Really great! We recommend. Thank you!

We were guests for a weekend. All we can say is that everything was fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is sufficient. There are eggs on Sunday. The double-decker beds are a bit small at the bottom for 1.90 m length and 115 kg and perhaps not quite as load-bearing at the top. But you can sneak your way in.

Had a very nice celebration in the cellar bar. And our food was simply delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are always happy to come back for a celebration.

Ladies and gentlemenThis youth hostel is highly recommended. The furniture fits really well, especially on Halloween. Broken beds, flying on the wall and cupboards tipping over. Moldy toilets and windows and much more. There's a whole Halloween event in this youth hostel. The staff is hardly approachable and you have to look for each person: Treasure Hunt!! Unfortunately, Maxim's cucumber was not served, but water noodles were instead. Table tennis tables that are not used by anyone and the old-modern furniture match the exterior of the youth hostel. In my opinion, the yellow Peugeot in front of the door is the most aesthetically pleasing thing about the whole youth hostel, I'm jealous.Extra Info: I used my pillowcase as a blanket and my backpack as a pillow. I got AIDS in the toilet.5 out of 5 stars because I like broken windows and shabby toilets.As I said, highly recommended.

There were some problems such as a bed collapsing, some bathroom doors not locking and the lamp behind the bed having a short circuit.In addition, almost all rooms had no windows in the bathroom but only a vent in the door which leads directly into the room. Although I was lucky with my room, I can definitely not recommend this youth hostel.

We were pleasantly surprised. My daughter and I had a shared room to ourselves. It was small, but enough to sleep on. The shower wasn't that clean, but wasn't that dramatic either.The breakfast was rather so-so. Some of the rolls were baked at least twice.To my personal frustration, the coffee from the machine cost two euros. I found it a bit overpriced.However, the staff was very friendly.We found the location perfect. If you're not lazy about walking, you can get to the center in half an hour.
