Small split level apartments in a private farm makes for a relaxing country stay in the Spreewald. Not too many amenities but wifi, and a quiet location was the ticket before traveling back home. Remember to bring bug spray as there were a lot of mosquitoes in late summer (early September)

The farm itself is a very beautiful area, but it cannot be used sufficiently because pretty much everything is left to its own devices (including the poor animals) and is gradually falling apart. One suspects that the farm was lovingly restored and operated in earlier times, but the present is rather careless. The landlady gives you the feeling that everything else is more important than the guests. In my opinion, she is overwhelmed and has not seen her holiday apartment and its defective interior for a very long time, otherwise she would know that a holiday apartment in such a condition should no longer be rented out.The holiday apartment is in a very dingy condition and many things are very worn out (carpet steps are coming off the stairs - very dangerous) or even broken (insect screens on all windows). The beds are very uncomfortable and the sofas are very dirty and germy. The windows give the impression that they haven't been cleaned for several years - simply unnecessary.The kitchen consists of dishes thrown together or sorted out (by the landlady?).The toilet is very dirty (black deposits) and the tile joints and the silicone are covered in mold.You can't rent out holiday apartments with such a laissez-faire attitude.I can only advise against taking a vacation here.

A nice, relaxing weekend was planned. We were given an inadequately maintained holiday apartment with an unpleasant end to our stay.The yard itself is nice and big, offers space to play and the barn is nicely developed with a small climbing wall and a clothing room for the children to dress up in. Hence a star.When we arrived the landlady was at work. She met us nicely, let us into the apartments and wanted to come over later to say hello. Finally she came at 9 in the evening. When we went into the apartments, it seemed that some people had left before us because there was no ventilation and the floor was sandy. Furthermore, there were spots from squashed mosquitoes and some small holes on the walls, some fly screens in front of the windows were broken, a bed sheet had holes in it and there were cobwebs and dead insects between the windows and the fly screen. The dishes in the kitchen looked as if they had been discarded from the landlady's private apartment, as there were hardly two glasses that looked alike and the oven was filthy. The toilet bowls in both holiday apartments were very dirty and in one holiday apartment an entire curtain rod was missing.The garden is nice and big, but horses also run around freely. Not bad in itself, but the young filly is very curious, comes very close and even grabbed my hand. You have to like that.The highlight was our departure. When we said goodbye to the landlady, she was firmly convinced that we were responsible for all the "mosquito stains" and that she would now have to pay 3,000 euros. For this she wanted cash from us directly as compensation. We couldn't have a normal conversation with her and we ended up being kicked out in a very rude manner.In short: I do not recommend anyone to stay in this holiday apartment. If someone decides to do this, document all defects and abnormalities photographically upon arrival!

This review refers to the landlady, not the holiday apartment. Ms. Kunz met me very unfriendly and inaccommodating. After we were unable to start the trip due to Corona, she refused to refund the amount we had already paid and could no longer be reached. Calls were not answered, emails ignored. So I was stuck with my own money as a single mother. Humanity is nil.

Beautiful, large holiday apartment in a very quiet outskirts location with parking spaces. Beautiful terrace to sit on with a view of nature, the swimming lake can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot. There is a boat dock and bicycle rental is possible without any problems from providers.Very practical facility without TV and without internet to slow down everyday life, very good. Price-performance ratio is unbeatable, many thanks to the nice landlords. We would like to come back.
