A quiet place on the outskirts of Burg.Unfortunately, we also had to smell the fecal smell all the way to our place (certainly 50 m further). There is also a certain educational "tone" there; there are signs everywhere telling you what to do and what not to do. When it's dark there is no lighting on the paths - don't forget your flashlight. We were there at a time when it rained off and on. The whole place was muddy, but awning carpet is forbidden there and is checked daily. You can imagine what it looked like in and around the mobile. However, the restaurant is very tasty, the service is friendly and on the ball. Our conclusion: we'll try the Spreewald again, but somewhere else

We were at the campsite and felt very comfortable. The parking spaces are spacious. The reception was very friendly and always helpful. We were happy to take advantage of the boat trip offered and didn't regret it. It was individual, a lot of interesting facts were told about the Spreewald and the cucumber tasting was delicious. The campsite's restaurant is always worth a visit, serving breakfast, coffee and delicious dinner. We can recommend the place.

Were here in 06/2024. beautifully located campsite with its own boat rental. Also suitable as a starting point for bicycle tours. Unfortunately, the schnitzel and fried potatoes in the restaurant (€18.90?) were not convincing. What really bothered me, however, was that there were far too few toilets for the size of the place.

If you love nature and can enjoy the peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. Great place, very nice and extremely hard-working boss. You should just reconsider the prices in the very cozy restaurant.

Unfortunately, very disappointing for us, no internet in the middle of the forest, not enough sanitary facilities for the camping guests, only a small restaurant where you have to order in advance otherwise you won't get a seat, but nice staff and good food. Electricity, water and sewage connection on site

We went kayaking here for 3 days in September. We weren't alone on the meadow (somewhat away from the pitches) but there was a great atmosphere among each other, as it should be among campers. The shared fireplace did the rest. It goes without saying for us that you should avoid waterlogging in the immediate vicinity of the water due to dense awnings/carpets and you are even kindly informed of this when making your reservation so that you know what you are getting into. Service, reception was friendly, food was good and the sanitary facilities were always clean. Our junior particularly liked the shields :) If you like, you can take a sauna and have a good time. We'd love to come back!

After looking at the website, we were disappointed with the campsite. Although the sanitary buildings have been modernized, they are not immediately modern. The pressure timer in the showers is set far too short, there are only 4 showers in total, the women's washroom is very narrow, there is very little storage/hanging space. Sanitary building A only has 2 toilets and no showers, so the distances are not always short. Additionally, the smell around this building was very unpleasant. The light in the sanitary building should also be set differently. It happened to us several times that we suddenly found ourselves taking a shower in the dark.Overall, the campsite is virtually unlit. A few lights for orientation would be nice. The restaurant made a good impression. The bread roll service worked and the interaction was nice.

We stayed at the campsite for 2 days with a couple who were friends of ours. In itself it is small but beautiful in nature. We were standing on a large meadow that was completely free except for a caravan right next to us. We really weren't loud, but even normal conversation wasn't desired. We didn't want to go to bed at 9 p.m. So the place might be nice for people over 60. The reception staff was very nice on the phone, but on site the lady with an accent was very condescending. Sanitary facilities were clean, but too small. The cleaning lady was also very unfriendly. There are certainly nice campsites in the Spreewald, but not this one again.

Camping site is highly recommended. We were there with a tent for a week and it was very pleasant so far except for the issue of electricity. Tents are only protected with 6A current, and as soon as you have more kettles and fan heaters on, the fuse goes out. The solution was found by the operator (have got 2 connections😉)From my point of view, it would make sense to protect these places with 10A like Wowa and Womos. But I would definitely come back because you feel comfortable and welcome here. The sanitary facilities were always clean and in perfect condition.I can only recommend the place!!
