One of the service staff was rather listless and not particularly friendly... some of the food was cold and had more of a microwave flavor than was particularly commendable.. The prices on the menu didn't match and some of it also had old meat.. Schnitzel and fries were the only good things there, otherwise not at all recommended for gourmets.

Very fine food. It tasted great. Service friendly and uncomplicated. We'd love to come by again.

The hotel has a particularly beautiful location in the forest, very close to the reservoir. A few meters and you find yourself on a beautiful sandy beach. Dogs were also allowed there, so we could spend some lovely hours here. We rented a pedal boat and a stand up paddling board at the lake. A small ice cream truck and the beach bar rounded off the day of swimming. The hotel itself had a pool and a barrel sauna. Unfortunately, the opening hours were limited to 8 p.m. and therefore hardly allowed us to visit. Unfortunately, due to technical problems, the sauna could only be heated up to 70°. You had to let the staff know 1 1/2 hours in advance, so the sauna was switched on first. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances, I only used it once. But this one time it worked wonderfully. Dinner was served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It has to be mentioned that the food was more than delicious. The day before you were given a choice of two dishes for the following day. As a starter you could either have a salad or a soup. The cream soups were always excellent! The main courses too! Upon request, we were given a second helping of the main course, so we were always more than full and satisfied. This was followed by dessert. The dog was not allowed into the restaurant during the main meals - which we fully understood. We wish there had been an option to eat outside. Unfortunately, people were very inflexible here. On changeable days, drinks were only served indoors. Self-exiting was also not desirable, as other day guests could have become aware of it. We couldn't figure out why the gate wasn't closed or the "closed company" sign was used in such a case. It should also be mentioned that it is very inconvenient for the guest if you have to pay for the drinks immediately every time. A final daily bill or booking into the room is much more pleasant. It didn't take long before we had a favorite waiter who was very attentive and quickly knew our orders by heart. We also really liked the waiter's calmness and balance - he was never above a nice conversation and was immediately remembered positively. With other waiters you had to be a little patient with the order from time to time.It always closed at 10 p.m. Usually at half past ten someone came again to order the last round. But we never felt rushed when emptying our drinks. So we were able to spend relaxing evenings.It was also very unfortunate that we couldn't take advantage of any wellness offers in the form of massages because the masseuse was currently on vacation.We were probably a bit unlucky with our room. At the beginning we had a musty smell in the room. The other passengers did not notice this smell. The blind was next to the window and as it turned out, several rooms didn't have a working blind. That didn't bother us. What was more annoying was that our doorknob was always saying goodbye and kept falling down. You had to make a tricky attempt to get out of the room a few times. In addition, a slatted frame is broken - not the slats themselves, but the outer frame. But that wasn't a problem - it was replaced within a few minutes. Otherwise, it was a real shame that nothing was prepared for the dog. We know from other hotels that both people and four-legged friends are greeted with a little attention.By the way, anyone who has arachnophobia should not spend their vacation here. They were found everywhere - true to the name "forest hut".In conclusion we can say that we were still able to spend a lovely holiday here.

A very quiet location, no street noise at night. The room was very nice, only the bathroom was a bit tight. The food was very tasty. We also used the sauna, for the first time in a barrel. There is also a swimming pool. Due to the weather (summer), we were able to swim in the reservoir, which can be reached on foot from the hotel within a few minutes. Massages were also offered, with registration required. Bicycle garage available and cycle paths as well.

We were on holiday in the hotel for a week. 2 adults and 3 children.One at 11 months, one at 3 years and one with celiac disease. We were very satisfied. All of our special requests were fulfilled to our satisfaction.
