The lady is quite old, but at first glance she was friendly and the apartment was nice. However, it doesn't work at all with the Oberstaufen Card. And there is no understanding that, as the causer of problems for the guests, we should also bear responsibility. Hospitality and professional interaction with customers looks different.We had intentionally booked accommodation with the Oberstaufen PLUS Card and had to pay for the included services ourselves because the elderly lady in the accommodation was unable to activate one of the cards.And instead of behaving in a customer-friendly manner, helping to solve the whole thing and contacting the tourist information office, we were attacked and told that it was our own fault.At the tourist information office, we were sent away and told to call us on Monday. Here the guest is held responsible for taking care of the booked services themselves.I wouldn't go to the accommodation again or travel to Oberstaufen again.And I don't recommend this to anyone else who would like to experience hospitality.

Nice, clean family accommodation.Great location with good bus connections, restaurant nearby, hiking trails on the doorstep and yet quiet. Simply a perfect vacation. We love the Marie-Luise guest house.

We were there with the family for a week over Easter, it was wonderful, the two landladies were very nice and sweet, everything was perfect. It's a rustic little house, very cozy. Above all, where can you get a welcome gift and a farewell gift, I think it's really sweet, thank you very much again for that 🙏🏻🥰 we'll come back at some point ❤️ kind regards

We stayed in the Marie Luise guesthouse for a week over Easter and felt very comfortable there. We received a very warm welcome and that didn't change in the following days. The holiday apartments are equipped with everything you need. The beds are super comfortable and nice and big. Hiking and cycling paths right on your doorstep. With the Oberstaufen plus card you can save a lot of money and it is included in the price.Thank you for everything.

Hello Marie Luise! We felt very comfortable with you. Everything was to our complete satisfaction and we would like to thank you very much for that. The Marie-Luise guest house is very centrally located. It's only a few minutes to the center of Oberstaufen and it's not very far to hike on the Hochgrat or the Imberg. With the Oberstaufen Plus card you have the opportunity to use the bus and the mountain railways. It is also only a stone's throw from Austria, so you have many options for spending your day. In Marie-Luise's house there is a very nice terrace where you can end the evening comfortably. Cold drinks are available in the house so you can save on shopping. It was our first time in the guesthouse Marie Luise and her daughter Manuela. Both are very nice. We felt really comfortable. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We were able to use the Oberstaufen Plus card for the Hochgrad as well as for the bus transport to the center of Oberstaufen. We will come back. Thank you for 4 lovely days in your house

We had a holiday apartment, it had everything you needed, a large kitchen and you could order the rolls and the lovely Mrs Donde hung them on the door early in the morning. Everything is very familiar.

A really great guesthouse to feel good in. Very friendly upon arrival. There is also a bread roll service, you just have to say what you want. The apartment was large and had everything you needed, the room was clean and rustic. Hiking opportunities right outside the door, to Oberstaufen you can walk about 20 minutes by bus and 5 minutes to the train station. There are small, fine shops as well as restaurants and cafés in Oberstaufen

A great holiday in a classic guesthouse. I stayed at the Marie-Luise guesthouse for a week and had a single room with breakfast. For everything else, there was plenty of choice of locations in Oberstaufen and the surrounding area. The service was top and very friendly. Included in the price was the Oberstaufen Plus card, which made it possible to use one of several top attractions free of charge every day. E.g. cable car rides or entry for 4 hours to the local fun and adventure pool including sauna.

If you want to stay in a rustic place, this is the place for you! And there's also the Plus Card...means a 4-hour sauna in the local pool once a day for free or one of the many mountain lifts for free once a day. Saves 25-30 euros. The mistress of the house is super friendly and accommodating.

It was our first time at the Marie Luise guesthouse. You already got the feeling of warmth when you greeted Mrs. Donte.The holiday apartments are fully equipped and lovingly furnished and very clean.The breakfast is also very lovingly prepared and you look forward to a nice conversation with Ms. Donte every morning.We were definitely not in this beautiful place for the last time.Thank you very much Ms. Donte for the wonderful days with you.

Beautiful and spacious holiday apartment, very nice hostess, all the important information for the hiker lovingly listed and provided.Restaurants in Oberstaufen for dinner, bus connection available, the way back is easy to walk (20 minutes downhill).

This was the second time I was with Marie-Luise and we (my daughter) felt very, very comfortable again this time. It's like "coming home" when Marie-Luise welcomes you. She takes very loving care of her guests and fulfills every wish. Everything was super clean. And the lovely breakfast room delights you every day. In the evening you sit on the bench in the garden and enjoy the view of the Hochgrat. Highly Recommended. We would definitely like to vacation there again.
