Campsite Ludwigsee

The campsite, lake and beergarten are overall pleasing to look at. The kids can play nearby the restaurant/beergarten which is nice. Almost everything are in need of maintenance. The 'touring sites' is not clearly marked out while still being numbered which is not practical almost kindof stupid and an extra stress factor. Showers and toilets are decent though but could use some maintenance. The employees there seems ok, but the manager/owner(?) seems neutral at best to unfriendly at worst and you almost get the feeling the guests are in his way.

Wanted to relax for a week and have fun with the SUP board. The parking space was the Seeblick parcel. Wonderful and right on the lake. The facility was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lake for soup is simply great. We will definitely come back.

Were here with the motorhome. Clean place. Lake shallow good for children. Dogs allowed. There is a private area that is fenced in where dogs can move freely

We were guests at the campsite over the weekend, the service was very good, toilets and washrooms were always clean! The food in the small bistro was good, although a bit too expensive in our opinion! The service was very nice and accommodating! Nice campsite, well maintained. Sanitary facilities are nice and clean, and the shower is nice and warm. We received a shower pass with 10 units on it, which was more than enough, you can take a good shower with 1 unit.Nice lake with beach and playground.Very good and cozy bistro.There is also a dog island where they can run loose and swim.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Came in the evening without prior notice. After calling, someone came immediately. We got a place right on the water. The playground wasn't far either. We felt very comfortable.

A very nice campsite with great, nice staff when registering.Unfortunately you can hear the highway a bit when it gets quieter in the evening.But still a really great place to escape from everyday life.

The place is beautiful and idyllic.I was there in 2021 and 2022 and stayed in the bear cave. 21, my impression was that there were very dedicated staff working there. It was friendly and helpful. 4 p.22 what the helpful staff, except at the reception, disappeared and the unfriendliness had set in. But the big hit was the head of the cleaning department. Roaring with a very red face, she reprimanded me in the pub because of an unwashed plate from last year. I found it disgusting that the beach was used as a dog toilet. Bags and signs were missing. 2P

Ideal for a relaxing weekend and short trip. A little paradise for children as the lake is only 1.20 m deep.

Beautiful facility, we camped with a group on the large meadow and found it very nice. If you go camping, you should always have earplugs with you if you want to block out the loud animal songs (frogs and birds). Otherwise, the many noises were fascinating. You could only hear the highway or train very quietly when the wind was blowing unfavorably.The sanitary facilities behind the reception were clean, there was always enough paper and the reception was also super friendly.Everyone at the restaurant was very nice and surprisingly helpful. We asked whether it was still possible to rent SUPs. Unfortunately that didn't work and pedal boats couldn't be rented due to a lack of staff. But if you have your own SUP with you, you were welcome to use it. We had permission to do this from reception and were also allowed to step over the fence on the jetty so that the fins on the SUP were not damaged in the shallow water. A gentleman from the restaurant didn't notice and spoke to us briefly in a friendly manner, pointing out that the fence had to be pulled back correctly and gave us a few tips about safety on the platform when he saw that we had gotten in from there with a private SUP are.I found it very attentive and good. Because trust is good but control is actually better.The lake was great and a maximum of 1.4m deep. Very nice for learning stand up paddling. I would bring my own SUP with me next time I visit.The playground was very popular with the children.What I would like to see would be a small dishwashing facility and larger trash cans closer to the "golf course" meadow.Another tip for the catering industry: if camping guests walk to the snack bar with their own drinks in hand, then let them arrive first and monitor the situation, because the cans or bottles could be empty or you could get something to eat. That would increase sales if you weren't scared off straight away. I wasn't affected, but I don't find it acceptable to experience something like that as a guest. Especially when people want to order something, you should be happy and not point out to them that they are not allowed to bring their own drinks. Maybe you had gone for a walk and wanted something else to fortify you or to look at the menu for later.I really liked the campsite and would like to camp there again with friends and family.
