We were there for the first time and absolutely loved it. The Hug family is absolutely lovely. The farm is in a quiet and perfect location, many things are within walking distance, trains and buses are just a few minutes' walk away. The apartment is very nicely furnished and very clean. Our child (and we too) had very happy days on the farm!

Great price/performance ratio for the apartments. We were here for 1 week and completely satisfied.I have often been a guest here in the valley. This farm is extremely conveniently located for shopping (farm shop, supermarket with bakery and butcher) and a train station. Everything can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The footpath and cycle path through the valley is also just a few meters away.

If you're looking for some peace and quiet in the Black Forest, you've come to the right place!We had the spacious holiday apartment "Eckwaldblick" and were completely satisfied with our New Year's Eve stay. The equipment is very neat, we hardly used the two televisions. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, oven, toaster, egg cooker and coffee machine. There is no lack of crockery and cutlery. The apartment is large enough for four people and was very clean when we arrived.The hostess is extremely friendly and accommodating, always has a relaxed attitude on her lips and is happy to give tips for excursions and things to do. The Konus guest card is included!An evening visit to the in-house schnapps fountain rounds off the stay. The home-distilled products can also be bought cheaply directly from the farm.

Renate & Josef Hug are very friendly and open-minded people who run their farm with various animals - much to the delight of our little daughter. Of course, keeping a handful of cows in stables is a dying form of husbandry, but it has been common practice for many decades. The chickens, goats and sheep have plenty of room to roam and are greeted and fed by our little one every day after breakfast.Our holiday apartment "Eckwaldblick" is furnished in a relatively modern way: ceramic hob with 4 plates, oven (unfortunately without circulating air), coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher! There's actually nothing missing. There is a TV in the bedroom and the kitchen, which we don't actually need. We only wanted to use a Chromecast for Netflix (to replace the tablet), which would theoretically be possible via HDMI on both TVs, but the AP isolation of the WLAN security means we cannot establish a connection to the smartphone. But the two TV sets were not necessary at all, there is enough to keep you busy.There is a lot of play equipment for the little ones in an extension: tractors, tricycles, scooters, balance bikes, (Bosch) workbench with all sorts of tools (drill, chainsaw, screwdriver, etc.), table tennis table, table football... Our little one loves the rattling chainsaw and the tractor! A water trough next to the open grill and a few watering cans round things off. Bring your own balance bike, bobby car, etc. its unneccessary.When it comes to playgrounds, there are various points of contact in Zell. A clear highlight is the âStadtparkâ playground, which now has a somewhat stiff pump. The âAdlerteichâ playground is very easy to reach on foot and has enough play equipment for small children and older children. Renate always has good excursions and hiking tips in store if you can't find a suitable selection on Google Maps etc.All in all, it was a very intensive and enjoyable week for us on the farm. Our daughter definitely wants to come back here. There are guaranteed to be enough excursion destinations.

Great item on the program during my short vacation in the Black Forest. Information lecture about the production of schnapps. Delicious snack with homemade lard, ham, quark and fresh bread. The special highlight: an accordion player who sings along and swayes along to folk songs while tasting schnapps. Simply GREAT!!! Finally, the delicious products made in the mill can be purchased. An afternoon that I will remember for a long time.

The farm is simply beautiful and the surroundings are a dream! The hosts are great people and you feel like you are in good hands. You can also go on holiday with a dog and thanks to the Konus guest card you can get anywhere without a car. The apartment is clean and comfortable and the breakfast, if you have booked it, is also delicious ⥠My mother and I will definitely come back again.

A beautiful courtyard to unwind and recharge your batteries. Very nice people who care about your well-being and the breakfast is delicious (if you have booked it). Very dog-friendly and very suitable for children as there is a small playground. There are also many animals on the farm. The rooms are very nice and the bed is comfortable. With the Konus card and the nearby train station you can explore the area for free and much more. All in all a very nice holiday đ

We've been here in a holiday apartment on the holiday farm since Saturday, we feel really comfortable here, the landlords are super nice and very helpful.There is also a small farm shop with a snack plate and several delicious goods, e.g. homemade goods, jam, etc.There is also a schnapps distillery.We are city people and getting to know country life is an experience for us.Top apartments, affordable prices, highly recommended and you shouldn't forget the many sights.

A beautifully situated farm with holiday apartments. Great playground, table tennis and table football are available. The holiday apartments have a balcony and are fully equipped. There are also cows, rabbits, cats, pigs and goats. The guests are very helpful and nice. There is a schnapps fountain and you can buy schnapps, eggs, bread, jams and sausages

Very open, very hospitable...wonderful location surrounded by forests and meadows...plus lots of animals that our granddaughter loved...During the entire stay, not a single question about television...it was all a lot too interesting...the young kittens...the eggs that she was allowed to lay in the basket herself...and of course then eat them for breakfast...many excursions in the area...e.g. the Hotzenplotzweg, the Wichtelweg, the Bachwegle...the apartment was also fine. There was a schnapps fountain for us... but it was too hot for that đ„... that's why we only used it once. Overall recommended...

Top apartment and the yard is very nice. The owners are very very nice and helpful. Shops in the immediate vicinity, easily accessible on foot. There is also a train station nearby, and you can be in the center of town in no time.
