everything clean, everything new, very spacious. There appears to be a dormitory next door. It can get loud in the morning. With the 18 it's just under 40 minutes to the main station and the house is on a busy street, but you don't hear much of it because the rooms are in the courtyard. The processing via email and WhatsApp was great, quick and easy.

Not the best location, as it’s so far away from the centre of Munich. The rooms are smaller than in Berlin, and the neighbours can be noisy. Not much to be done on this, but just be aware.

Any problem has the same response: "we're sorry you don't like the room, we hope you like it next time" whether the power goes out or if you forgot that you had reserved 2 rooms and there is only one. They give you the key 6 hours before your arrival and there is no one in the "hotel", from then on you have to fight with an answering machine for everything. When the power went out, the answering machine told us that the fuse box is behind the door but in reality it is hidden in one of the closets, contravening any safety regulations... We had to find out on our own...

I was in Numa for 7 days. The company practices greenwashing. They are proud of their water packaging made from reusable raw materials and claim to be particularly sustainable everywhere. But they use bed linen made of plastic (polyester) in which you immediately start to sweat. In the coworking space you automatically spray the cheapest room smell made from chemicals, which is very unhealthy and unsustainable. The whole building smells like cheap cleaning products. Our room smelled of something unidentifiable. The doors are all particularly difficult to open and difficult for women to navigate. It is these doors that normally open automatically, but here they open manually and are particularly difficult. The CoWorking Space is advertised, but there are only chairs that no normal person can sit on. Working becomes impossible after a few minutes because you can't sit. The table is way too low, as are the chairs. Only bar stools and chairs that are super low are available. How are you supposed to sit there? In addition, the internet is unstable and cuts out every few minutes. In the entrance area I found an unresponsive person who had smashed a vodka bottle. (See picture) Luckily an ambulance was also on site because of the Nachnar building and I was able to get the paramedics. The building next door is an anti-social facility, so you meet a lot of strange people there when you go out on the street. At 5 a.m. you might find an alcoholic/drug addict screaming around. The only advantage of the building is the permanent camera surveillance, which apparently is not used because no one came to clear away this drunk, antisocial person in the entrance.

REPLY TO OWNER:Your employee made it clear that the case for you is closed in our last communication. Now you 'd like to discuss? The case for me is pretty clear also.Your "internal investigation" has no credibility. You are trying to gaslight me with different mediums. I have attached the complete conversation which shows how easily your employees lie and try to gaslight customers. I have more proof regarding the elevator incident, which should have been my first indicator of the quality of your services and ethics.INITIAL REVIEW:In a nutshell, terrible experience and the worse customer service ever. Never, ever again. In detail:Worse experience ever. I travel regularly for work. I spend about half of the year in hotels and apartments all over Europe (mostly Germany). I recently found numastay and as I am always looking for a stable environment where I can cook a meal and also enjoy some quiet time after work, I decided to give it a try. Your value proposition sounded promising. If I could go back in time, I would never book this stay with them. When I arrived at the hotel, I was in for a nasty surprise. My room was on the second floor with no lift. As Numastay is a faceless, app-based company, there was no reception to ask for help with my luggage. I had to drag everything, including my spondylosis-suffering dog, up to the second floor myself. When I checked their website, I could find no information about the building not having a lift. And as they advertise themselves as a 4-star property, I expected to find one. The next morning, I wrote to their WhatsApp chatbot and was connected to an employee, who said to me that they called the elevator company right away, but due to the bank holidays in Germany it couldn't get fixed. It will be done the same day though, they should be there soon. Was there a lift and I missed it? I wondered where it could have been. So I decided to ask. The employee took some time to answer that there is no elevator afterall.I was very surprised that someone would lie for fixing a non existent elevator, so I asked if they lied to me before.I got a very confusing answer, as if I was talking to a machine or to someone else before. I am sorry, I did not lie to you? Did you already contact us before on this matter?"I should have escalated the issue, but I decided to just show her her previous message and ask if they were going to build a lift in one day, or fix an imaginary lift. She said she was mistaken Munico for another property. And I let her off the hook because I was there on business and had much more important things to do. She offered to move us up to the first floor. It wouldn't make much of a difference - and I'd have to put things in her lockers in the morning to move into the room in the evening. That meant moving suitcases up and down and spending so much time changing rooms. And yet I would have to climb the stairs again with my dog. I refused. Life went on...The worst came after we had checked out and while I was on my way from Munich to Berlin. As I was checking my emails, waiting for a customer message, I found an email from Numastay requesting 150 EUR fine because according to their internal investigation "we smoked in the room"I was very surprised, as I do not smoke and cannot handle smoke in the bedroom. I replied that we did not smoke in the room and that we did not stay at the property mentioned in their email subline. They insisted and requested to pay within 24 hours. They even sent some false pictures with items that did not belong to us and were supposed to be found in our room. I asked more details to take legal actions for false accusations. They started mixing things up. They waived the fee at the end, but I have spent all day yesterday writing with them back and forth. Complete waste of energy, time and good mood.

1. There is no elevator or reception in the building and they claim to be a 4 star hotel. Everything has to be arranged by WhatsApp.2. The description of the room facilities does not reflect reality.Example: No king-size bed in the room, no olive oil and salt and pepper in the kitchenette.3. Risk of being fined 2500 € when cooking a meal in case the smoke alarm is triggered (YES they have a sign in the room for this)4. Very difficult communication with customer service - they schedule cleaning at their own convenience, they do not keep the right dates for cleaning appointments, they lie and act entitled and very very unprofessional.5. Tricky behaviour from the staff during the whole stay.6. Very noisy neighborhood, the people living in the facility next to numa are very noisy and scream during day and night.7. Bad air quality in the room and in the co-working space.Definitely not recommended. Not worth the money, time, energy, and effort required to communicate with them. Be aware and choose another accommodation.
