Very cool youth hostel, ideal for a family weekend. Everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast.

A really incredibly great, family-friendly youth hostel, with friendly and attentive staff!We first had 1 school trip and then 1 orchestra, but everything was within the framework and the staff were very accommodating so that no one felt disturbed.We didn't arrive until after 9 p.m., which is why we couldn't check in "properly", but that also went completely smoothly!The toilet was clean, the shower had warm water, the beds had extra protective covers, which I hadn't seen before in DJHs, and we had an extra baby bed, even though we hadn't ordered it. We simply thought of it here!The castle itself had a lot to discover for the children and was worth the trip!The food was great on all 4 days, the range of games at the reception is amazing and we also found our way around the castle quicker than we thought. We would do it again as a family!

A beautiful and well-preserved castle. We only visited the courtyard and were on the castle tower from which there were beautiful views of the surrounding area. The parking lot at the castle is small and free. We didn't have to pay anything to enter the courtyard and the tower.

Super nice here. Food is good. One seminar room is very nice. Rooms are normal, sockets are a bit awkwardly placed. The number of toilets and showers is a bit small but it works.

We stayed here for two nights with our grandson (6 years old). All the employees we met were very friendly and service-oriented. The room, shared showers and toilets were great! The food was really very good and tasty. We (62 years and 70 years) are completely thrilled. A recommended JH!

The youth hostel is located in the castle and therefore has very great rooms. However, it is not suitable for wheelchair users. You have a great view of the surrounding area. Unfortunately, it is not comparable to the newly renovated youth hostels in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.Here the toilets and showers are accessible via the hallway.

Beautiful location, beautiful building. We stayed there for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. 2 ⭐️ Deduction because of the sockets and WiFi, as well as the missing bedside tables and the outdated bed lamps. Wi-Fi is only available at the bottom of the building, the sockets are very inconveniently placed, and there are no bedside tables attached to the beds. Breakfast 10/10, there is plenty of space for children to play.Conclusion: Technically rather outdated, but otherwise really nice!

The one star was deducted because of the WiFi, as it is not available on the upper floors and there were only 2 sockets in our room and there were 4 of us. Otherwise it's a really beautiful castle. Beautifully furnished inside and with a large yard outside. There are table tennis tables, a volleyball court and a basketball hoop. You can also find seating everywhere with an enchanting view. The food is also very tasty, although you don't expect that from youth hostels. The breakfast with a large selection: various drinks, jams, types of cereal, types of bread rolls and many toppings. For lunch and dinner there is always warm and not classic as you would expect: we had pineapple turkey curry, breaded fish with potatoes and remulade, and tortellini in tomato sauce/gnocchi with tomato sauce.

Very nice castle.If you wanted to buy something you had to walk/drive all the way down the mountain to get to the nearest grocery store!
