Very nice and courteous operators, rooms exactly as I imagined for this area....simply rustic with everything you need, delicious and filling breakfast, bus stop a minute away. All in all, I was very satisfied and will come back I'd be happy to come back if a room is available

I can praise the guesthouse highly. We had the double bed room + balcony, it had a wonderful view, the bus stop was directly opposite and with the guest card you could travel on most buses for free. You could also walk down into the city, which was really breathtaking. The breakfast was super delicious and you had everything you needed. And I have never met such a lovely person as the pension landlady. She was accommodating, friendly and provided you with the best locations or hiking routes.We would definitely like to come back❤️Greetings Lea & Sophie ☺️

Had a wonderful family holiday at Villa Lockstein for the third year in a row. This time in the holiday apartment. Nothing was missing. The location is optimal. Whether by car or on foot, there are many excursion destinations nearby. Whether hiking with small children or challenging hikes, the innkeeper knows the area very well and can suggest new destinations every day.Thank you very much and we look forward to visiting Villa Lockstein for many more years.

The view of the mountains from the room is beautiful. The room is neat and clean. The breakfast is also good. If we come to Berchtesgaden again, we will definitely choose this accommodation again. Parking is directly behind the accommodation. The owners are friendly and nice.

Family-run guesthouse. We had a nice triple room. Everything clean and in order. A very nice, friendly and accommodating hostess. Ms. Renoth is very knowledgeable about the area and gives very good tips. Very warm to our son.Bus stop in front of the door, parking spaces behind the house.

A very nice, privately run house with a lot of attention to detail.Wonderful service always friendly and a smile.The breakfast buffet is small but very tasty and there is a little bit of everything. I didn't notice that someone left there hungry. Simply great.

Very nice hostess.Always trying to make sure the guests have a good time.Small but varied buffet for breakfast.The single room was very clean and comfortably furnished.Lots of tips for exploring the area are offered.And with the guest card, all public bus rides are free.Detailed information about this will be available on site.I will definitely come back this year.Thank you for the service.

I was a guest of the Renoth family at Villa Lockstein in September. For me personally, it was the most beautiful accommodation I have ever been able to stay in. The location is a very small distance from the market, but still easily accessible for almost everyone. The single room is very lovingly, comfortably and stylishly furnished. A rich breakfast buffet offers a very enjoyable start to the day. From there, as an ideal starting point for hiking enthusiasts and experienced mountaineers, great hikes can be undertaken to the Untersberg massif and its surrounding mountains. The hosts, the Renoth couple, were so kind and warm and looked after their guests so well, took a lot of time to talk to each other and myself, and contact with other guests was also quickly established, which is always very important to me personally . Especially after eight holidays with my former host, I had great concerns about ever finding something so great in Berchtesgaden again, but thanks to Villa Lockstein and the Renoth family, these were completely unfounded. Anyone who is looking for an inexpensive and lovingly run guesthouse in Berchtesgaden and is lucky enough to have the weather is guaranteed to have the mountain vacation of a lifetime here! :-)

I am very satisfied with the guesthouse, I couldn't have expected more.The room is very nicely decorated and clean. The family is very friendly and helpful, knows the local area and also gives tips and advice for tours and sights in town.I felt very well looked after.It is kept very clean.Extra requests are also taken into account and fulfilled. I'm very satisfied.

I didn't want a vacation in a classic hotel, but rather peace and quiet in a nice guesthouse. I wasn't disappointed. I had a nice, clean room with a balcony and a view of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast was great, lovingly prepared and ideal as a basis for hiking throughout the day.The guesthouse itself is quite conveniently located, very quiet and still only a short walk into the city (approx. 5-7 minutes on foot).The hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful, she had lots of tips for the planned hikes and every single one was worth its weight in gold. Without her I would probably have been quite lost.I can fully recommend the guesthouse and would vacation there again at any time.

Can’t wait to go back here one day. Found out about from someone at the train station when I arrived in town and need a place to stay for a few nights. Just a few minutes walk to the town centre up and over the hill. Thanks
