Very good location. Lots of hiking opportunities. Very friendly staff at the hotel. Good service. In 2024 I will be there for the 10th time. Always happyMs. Hansen and her team are very concerned about their guests.

Great location, excellent food, very good service.
Our room faced the parking lot & we were flooded by light most of the night.
We tried to cool down the room by opening the windows, but had a lot of noise & not enough air.

***Down-to-earth hotel in a wonderful location with good value for money***The Alpenhotel Kronprinz is in a very good location with wonderful views near the city center of Berchtesgaden. It only takes 10 minutes on foot to get to the center. The view of the mountains from the hotel is really fantastic.The bottom line is that the hotel offers good value for the price. We paid an average of €110 per night with breakfast for a single room. The rooms are clean and spacious - although the furniture and the bathroom are a little old. Something really needs to be done here sooner or later.The breakfast and the dishes offered are also generally good. Both the breakfast and the dishes offered are rustic and taste good - although something could be adjusted to suit the times. Everything tastes good but you're not exactly forced to cheer either.The bar in the basement, where you can end the evening very comfortably, is highly recommended.In my opinion, the service was good – we felt very comfortable during the four days.The bottom line is that this is a hotel that you can go to without hesitation and where you feel comfortable.

Great hotel with a very good breakfast buffet and two nice restaurants for the afternoon and evening. Good service, wide selection of food and drinks, large portions. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel and an underground garage. We had a stunning view of the Watzmann from our room, including thunderstorms in the surrounding mountains.

Great hotel with a wonderful view of the Watzmann and the Hoher Göll! We stayed there for two nights with a small child and were very satisfied with the service!The rooms are rustic and cozy with a large balcony with a wonderful mountain view that allows you to linger long into the evening and watch the mountains disappear into the dark! The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasted very good!Underground parking available and the ladies at reception are always in a good mood and ready for a bit of Bavarian insults!Gladly again for the Watzmann tour next year

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel....during my last trip and I must say that I was extremely satisfied. From the moment of check-in, the staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience very welcoming straight away.The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and well furnished.The breakfast included in the stay was truly delicious, with a wide choice of fresh and tasty foods. Additionally, the hotel had great amenities such as a sauna.located a few steps from the bus stop direct to the Königsee.I can only highly recommend the Hotel ... to anyone who wishes to have a pleasant and comfortable stay in this city.

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend, the view is really beautiful from the terrace.About the service: The service is very friendly.Our room was completely sufficient, as we spend most of the time outside anyway.The food is really, really good, I've never had such a good cordon bleu! Really great! The burgers are great too!A successful weekend.

The hotel is located on a hill. You have a beautiful view of the mountains and not far to the city center.The breakfast was very tasty and is recommended, the only small downside: there was only filter coffee. The selection of baked goods was extensive. Sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs, jams, cereals, juices, sparkling wine etc. were available.In the evening it was possible to order à la carte or buffet. The food also tasted good.The room was fine. It was clean and spacious.Unfortunately no air conditioning, no balcony and no blackout options. Slightly noisy.Our room was in the basement. Getting to the room was chaotic.The car can be parked free of charge in the hotel's underground car park.

The Crown Prince is getting a bit old. It is clean and tidy, the view from the breakfast room is magnificent. The breakfast itself is fine. The windows at the back have a view of the courtyard. The only annoying thing was the construction work right outside the window. Truck traffic three meters away!Conclusion: You can do it.
