A really expensive snack!Just under €16.00 for a small frozen schnitzel & potato salad is simply too much, and even the great view of the Elbe can't save it.Only the waiter was very nice and accommodating. Thanks for that.It's a shame, for lunch/dinner you're definitely better off in the other restaurants on the market square.

We stopped by spontaneously after hiking. Sauerbraten was absolutely recommended. Chicken schnitzel nothing special but absolutely delicious and ok. The service is worth highlighting. Very accommodating, attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back! The view is very great.

We went to Cafe Richter very often. The day had come to finally spend the night in the hotel. For a former FDGB holidaymaker, it certainly brought back many memories. Yes, you won't find golden taps, comfortable seating or state-of-the-art electronics here. Instead, squeaky beds were the absolute highlight. That's the objective view. We still liked it very much. The staff were always concerned about our well-being. They are friendly people who make kindness visible and that is crucial. We have already announced our return.

We visited Café Richter. Small menu, but very tasty food. It was fresh, tasty and tasted very good. I was lucky enough to enjoy the strawberry punch. I found them very tasty and with enough fruit. I know it differently too.The staff was polite and helpful.The view of the Elbe was also a nice plus.So feel free to try it out yourself.

Went on a short hike along the Elbe....stop at the Café Richter with a view of the Elbe....the small snack "spiced meat" was a disappointment...poor quality (fatty) meat spoiled the stay.... Unfortunately we had to pay the full price, no apology, no alternative offer...it's a shame...so points deducted

A few days ago we finally went to Café Richter. It feels like I've been to Saxon Switzerland 1,000 times, but never here. And first of all, it was worth it and it was tasty. Sit on the terrace in the best sunny weather and enjoy the fabulous view. The view wanders along the Elbe, towards the mountains, as if in paradise. The omelette with spiced meat was really great and it filled me up and the ice cream sundae 🍨 with strawberries 🍓 was also delicious 😋. We cannot judge the rooms due to a lack of experience.🏵🏵🏵🏵🏵

The food was...okay but it won't blow anyone away. The Rostbrätel here is nothing more than a slice of meat that, after frying, was covered in mustard and then piled high with onions that weren't completely cooked through... Fried potatoes with it were ok, but not great either.

The staff is very nice and attentive. The prices are OK for this location. The dishes were obviously convenience products of dumplings and schnitzel, which were probably just thrown into the deep fryer. The taste was OK, but not great. The inn has a great location with a direct view of the Elbe. There is a paid parking lot in front of the restaurant, but it quickly becomes overcrowded.

The guesthouse has a very nice terrace with a beautiful view of the Elbe! Friendly staff, regional cuisine...but it's all a matter of taste. I think it's great that seasonal dishes are also offered, such as currently. Pumpkin soup. Delicious cakes and tarts are also offered, as well as various types of ice cream. Hygiene regulations are adhered to!

A super nice view from the outside terrace of the Elbe and the town of Wehlen jetty.We only ate a little something there, but it was delicious.The dishes on the neighboring tables looked very appetizing and the portions were generous.A parking space right in front of the door, so everything is as the landscape dictates, nice and relaxed.

I've known this café (hotel) since I was a child. I don't understand all the complaining that's going on here. The food is tasty and the staff is friendly despite the whole situation. Someone should imitate that first... Floods etc Corona survived and still there for holidaymakers. You should just stay at home and keep eating out of the can, because those are the worst offenders.

If you like it cheap and without luxury, this is the right place for you. No WiFi, but a great location, clean and cozy rooms and a very tasty, cheap breakfast. The staff is great, after 2 days you can say: As always and it's working.

Nice café, located directly on the Elbe, great view. The staff was very friendly, the parasol was opened immediately as requested. The service was super quick and polite. The cake and the ice cream sundaes were very tasty. We'll definitely come back.
