Rooms had a new upgrade, but unfortunately the light in the bathroom was forgotten. Really too dark in a bathroom without a window and one more shelf would be helpful.Staff very friendly and food down-to-earth, tasty/regional.

Have you planned a trip to Saxon Switzerland or Dresden and are you thinking about whether you want to stay overnight at the country hotel “Zur Klinke”? If there are three or four of you and you're considering a "family room" in the attic - definitely not!I have to rely on hotels from time to time for work, but unfortunately I have to say that this accommodation tops the list at the bottom.Probably built in the early/mid 90s, the standard of furniture and, more importantly, the sanitary facilities are also of the same standard.A small wooden spiral staircase takes you to the attic - the barrier-free issue is already taken care of. With outside temperatures of over 30 degrees, there were temperatures in the attic that would have rivaled any sauna. Air conditioning? None. A fan with a diameter of approx. 20 cm should then fix it - of course in vain.A double bed and a separate bed were immediately found - but bed number 4 "hid" first. We then found this in a kind of “built-in room” as a separate compartment. The wonderful wellness shower was also connected there. Two showers, one side of which only had holes from the original massage jets in the wall and the second part, which was a bit difficult to use due to the lack of a shower door. The bathtub in room number 2 made it difficult to use for people over 1.50 m tall, as otherwise there was a risk of head collision with the sloping ceiling.I could go on to say that the plank floor under the laminate has partially given up and that the foot fell slightly when stepping on the carpet draped over it, or that water stains above the bed suggest that the roof may not be completely tight good - but no, the details should not be listed here due to the length of the text. One thing can be said: the quality of the room was consistent...I would perhaps be less disappointed if the room hadn't been charged at 100 euros for one night. Sure, there's no such thing as a night in a 5-star hotel, but I wouldn't offer that to anyone I dislike in the slightest.Maybe I'm doing the hotel an injustice because the floors below have rooms that are in better condition - the attic is, at least in my eyes, the "floor of horrors".In case the question arises why we were there:Opposite is a truly wonderful barn that can be rented for celebrations. We were invited to a wedding there and then stayed overnight there.Probably the only reason why the hotel still exists and charges such prices - there is simply a lack of alternatives.

The country hotel “Zur Klinke” is an ideal hotel for exploring Dresden, Radeberg and the surrounding area. It's a small house and you immediately feel very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and tries to do everything right for you. The house's kitchen deserves special mention, as it spoils you with delicious and tasty food. Even if there are problems or special requests, the employees are always available to listen. This was not my last stay in this hotel, I would like to come back to the Landhotel “Zur Klinke”. Thank you for the lovely weekend.

Very nice hotel, we stayed there for 2 nights, the room was very comfortable, clean and modernly furnished. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Breakfast with homemade salads that were very tasty, very varied. The dinner was really tasty, freshly prepared. The chef on site is really kudos to him. Will definitely come back
