Unfortunately the price/performance ratio isn't right here at all,Unfortunately the food was cold and didn't taste good. The equipment is also very old. Unfortunately, WiFi is only available downstairs at reception and not in the room. And just don't use the coffee machine, I've rarely seen something so dirty. Very unfortunate!! Unfortunately we had hoped for more for our first team trip.

So first of all you have to honestly say that the food is terrible and doesn't taste good. Also, the rooms are cold and dirty. But the food is impossible and unacceptable. It is definitely not recommended.

The food didn't taste good, the cutlery was still used, as were the cups, the room didn't even have a bathroom, just a sink that was dirty

I was at the Lindlar youth hostel with my fifth graders and they were very satisfied. It is located in a rural town, surrounded by a forest, where you can organize a scavenger hunt or, for example, a night hike. The nearest shops or ice cream parlor are within walking distance (approx. 800 m).In addition to the low overall price, we booked a visit to the quarry, where the children were allowed to carve fossils out of the stones with hammers and chisels. The drinks package was particularly important to us and the pizza party was particularly delicious. The employees are very accommodating and always friendly. The rooms are a bit cramped, but when you consider that the children were outside all day and then fell straight into bed, that wasn't so relevant in retrospect.I will definitely recommend this hostel to my colleagues!

Rudimentary youth hostel. Beautiful forest around. Bad organization. We had to wait several hours for our rooms with two school classes. The rooms booked for the children were available, four rooms were booked for the carers, each with a shower. But there were only 3 of them with showers. We had booked stick bread at the campfire. About 10 logs of wood were provided, which was enough. Unfortunately, the dough that was provided was only enough for 20 children with tiny portions per stick. Even when asked, nothing could be delivered. The children still had fun. The terrain is good. The building has the charm of a barracks. Lindlar is a beautiful town. There are certainly better accommodations for school trips.

Particularly popular with school classes, choir groups, orchestra groups and hikers, organic food is also cooked vegan and lactose-free.
