During our Interrail trip we spent a wonderful and relaxing night in the Scheffelhof. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, equipped with everything you need. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent location of the house, which enabled us to explore the surrounding area. There was a great atmosphere in the pub even during the week. I can only warmly recommend the Scheffelhof!

We spent two excellent nights at the Hotel Scheffelhof. The rooms are obviously newly renovated and really nicely decorated. The hotel is located in a quiet and pleasant corner of Konstanz's old town. In the same building there is a really cool Irish pub with excellent food that belongs to the hotel. You also have breakfast there, which is really great for such a small hotel. You can tell that the owners put a lot of passion into their work here. We'll definitely be back!

Very centrally located. Nice staff. Room ok, with fridge.But the rooms are far too warm. You don't get much sleep because of the heat and noise in and around the house. Breakfast buffet is very simple.

Wonderful location, loving people, great! I also got value for money and extra sausage.Rooms are spacious, absolutely clean and we also had amenities such as fridge, air conditioning etc.

Sher dirty I said they cleaned again but still dirty! Uberal dust, hair and leftover food on the floor. I had to clean myself!And no climate, it's very warm! My children don't sleep. It's incredibly bad! Rooms are big but cleanliness is zero!! The boiling water is super grumpy, I've never seen anything like that. I have to buy one myself as a reason to drink the little aptamil! Catastrophe!! I don't recommend at all!!Fortunately only one night

Small, cute hotel in the old town. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. There is a locked area to lock up the bike and load it if necessary. There is a pub downstairs which isn't bothersome at all. The staff is very friendly and the room price is very reasonable. The disadvantage is the lack of parking and the lack of an elevator. Parking is possible nearby but not cheap. All in all, highly recommended.

We had a family room on the 3rd floor. This was modern and attractively furnished, large and well divided. The room was clean, the mattresses were surprisingly comfortable, at first we thought they were too soft. Breakfast was plentiful and with fresh fruit/vegetables, location very central in Konstanz.There is a pub on the ground floor, which may prevent people on the lower floors from sleeping, but we didn't hear anything on the 3rd floor. But there is no elevator.

I spent a week there. Hotel is very centrally located and very nice. Rooms are more than fine and have everything you need including a small fridge. The staff is very warm. They bought extra gluten-free rolls for breakfast. Thanks 😃❤️ Breakfast is in the pub downstairs and it's really nicely decorated there. Thank you for the great week in Konstanz. I would book my stay there again at any time

Over all the hotel is nice to look at, rooms are well kept, the WiFi signal is strong, and the beds are really soft. But, why the three stars. 1.) this is minor but the locks are key only, so technically it is not super secure. 2.) not that I need it, but as far as I could tell there was no elevator, so def not for some one with mobility issues. 3.) this is the part that stands out, we rented two rooms and on the second night there I saw (and killed) a cockroach in each room. I was not sure at first as I have never seen those type before, and they seemed to be quite slow compared to the ones I have dealt with in NYC. I guess they came up via the plumbing as both were in the bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is also a bit expensive for what you get, better off going to the Lidl at the end of the street. There is no parking, you need to use one of the public parking lots close by. It is quite well located in terms of access to the old part of Konstanz, and is about 200m from the Swiss/German border crossing

A little old but still very pretty.Cool pub at night, perfect breakfast in the morning.The children's trampling from theIt doesn't have to be on the top floor from 6 a.m.Otherwise ideal for 1-2 nights to stay in the city.

Even though I was unfortunately only able to stay one night, the stay was extremely pleasant. The location is perfect for exploring Konstanz, the staff are super friendly and the Irish pub offers a special ambience. I will gladly come again!

The location is great, pretty central and everything is within walking distance.The room (10) is already getting a bit old: the bed is lying down, the window is really tight, the bathroom door handle is loose, the toilet seat is loose... Unfortunately, the mountain of laundry from the last guests was lying in front of our room door for a good 24 hours. Despite being tipped off, it took until the next day for it to be removed.Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and on hot days the fan doesn't really help either.

Nice room in the center. Booked last minute. Air conditioning, balcony, refrigerator and neat shower. Candy on the bed. Service fine. Very close to a supermarket so we had breakfast on the balcony. Breakfast was extra 15 euros pp. There is also a kettle and pour-over coffee in the room.

Good and practical location, very friendly reception and greeting.The cleanliness could be better (hair in the bathroom, dust and crumbs under the bed), the price is okay. Location is central and ideal for shopping.
