The hotel is beautifully located in the forest, unfortunately we didn't arrive until 8 p.m. at night and unfortunately no one was there. So we called and yes, you should have called in advance, but unfortunately it wasn't anywhere. The rooms are tip top but the service leaves a lot to be desired. From 7:00 onwards in the morning the radio downstairs in the kitchen was turned up to full volume and you could hear it up high. The breakfast was good but good service also means asking. Did you sleep well yesterday? Everything so far found nothing like that. Breakfast hasn't even been finished yet so you can pay straight away. Presto, the lady disappeared again. The only person we saw was a man at a garage who wished us a safe journey and he was very friendly, something like that also happens to run a hotel. For your information, there is no dinner upstairs at least everything was closed when we arrived.

Frank and Sandra run the Wildsau with a lot of passion. A lot of time and money was invested in the former youth hostel. Whenever I'm in Greiz, I stay there overnight. Also suitable for family celebrations. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast plate is more than sufficient.Kind regards and see you soon from SwitzerlandThe Alexander

Was there as part of a Christmas party and experienced friendly and competent staff. The buffet was one of the best in a long time. All food is fresh, warm, tasty and in sufficient quantities. Questions were answered immediately.

Invited to a big birthday, I was in this restaurant for the first time and for the first time in maybe 10 years at the property itself. It was pure madness what happened there during that time.The buffet was great, everyone who stayed overnight praised the rooms.The perfect place if you have to host a larger celebration.

Small but very cozy guesthouse in the middle of the countryside. The rooms are modernly furnished and the bathroom is very spacious. The breakfast is very tasty and sufficient, wishes are gladly fulfilled.

We were there for a club meeting. It's a bit difficult to find if you don't know the area, as the navigation system will send you there from the "wrong" side.We had a buffet, it was really very good and plentiful. The service was friendly and accommodating.There was a fireplace in the room so it was also very warm and cozy.It definitely invites you to take a trip, in summer you can also go for a walk in the wooded area, there is also a small pond.

Lovingly newly renovated guesthouse, beautiful view of Greiz, very quiet in the middle of the forest, great hosts, we would love to come back and our puppy felt comfortable and was allowed to come with us 🐶

Very good for staying overnight but there is no warm meal up there otherwise it's great there. The innkeepers are very nice and helpful.

Full 5 stars in advance. Delicious cuisine, great food for everyone, excellent ambience, great outdoor facilities and clean, well-kept toilets. Service quick and friendly. I don't find anything wrong with it. I will 100% stop there again, eat and relax. Thanks to the whole team “Zur Wildsau”. See you soon, gladly again.
