When I was there, two sex workers had rented rooms on the same floor. You could clearly hear the doors being opened about a dozen times a day for different gentlemen. Occasionally you could also hear working noises from the service provider. It got so annoying to me that I confronted the lady and then somehow ended up on the mattress myself. I was appeased by that.

The hotel is very well located if you want to visit the castle festival - but also for any other visit to the city.Due to the small number of rooms, it offers a very family atmosphere. The rooms are very nice, individually furnished. They offer everything you need - including powerful air conditioning in summer temperatures. The breakfast is very varied and generous. The reception is not always manned, but everything is well equipped and explained so that you can get along. But if someone is there, you will be treated very friendly and courteously. It's not mass production!

The two of us spent one night at the Castle Hotel. The short-term booking and our late arrival were no problem at all, we were given a door code and there was a small chest waiting inside with all the important information and the door key. There were also little chocolates in there and there was also something sweet on our pillows in the room. The whole hotel is very lovingly furnished. When you look at the rooms you can tell that someone has put a lot of thought into how to make your stay comfortable. A bottle of water, information about the hotel and even some evening reading were available.I particularly liked that there was a Dyson fan in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the size of the room was definitely enough for our purposes. The room and the general atmosphere of the hotel seemed very cozy and homely to us, without seeming old-fashioned! The location is perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast is really incredibly good! We stated in advance by email that we wanted to eat vegetarian and gluten-free, which was absolutely no problem. We were also able to specify a desired time. Breakfast was served on a cake stand and was lovingly stocked. Homemade jams, various types of cheese, delicious fruit salad and our vegetarian and gluten-free wishes were also taken into account here. The drinks that were served were also really good and without asking we got orange juice and water with lemons. Everything can be refilled upon request and you can also get coffee creations. But what we found most beautiful was how warm and lovely the team is! Very accommodating, friendly - just great! We weren't there for long but we felt very comfortable and definitely plan to come back! Thank you very much and see you soon☀️

Super nice and helpful landlords. Great location. The room is small and has no table or desk, so not suitable if you have to work. But great for tourist purposes.
