Our time here so far has been nothing less than rejuvenating. The hosts were warm, hospitable, and thoughtful. They knew we would be away from home for a while, and made sure our young kids would have lots to do/enjoy! The morning breakfasts were one of our highlights as a family - peaceful atmosphere, healthy options, and affordable. This neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, and we grew fond of what my kids call the “ding dong church” which has a bell that rings every 15 mins, but was never loud enough to wake them up from their afternoon naps. The cleaning staff is friendly (and despite the language barrier, since I don’t know German yet) we’re able to meet our needs multiple times each week. We enjoyed many hours at the spielplatz on this property, on the patio/balcony attached to our unit, on walks to Kedler’s bakery nearby and the DJK sportsplatz 2 mins down the street (by car).All four of us would be happy to make another trip from Canada to Gebenbach one day!

I was accommodated in a holiday apartment number 7. It was totally dirty full of cobwebs and harvestmen on the ceilings and spiders in the shower. An ant trail ran past the front door, leading up to the next floor. The partition wall to the neighboring apartment is a wooden panel so that you can understand every word and don't need an alarm clock since the neighbor gets up at 5 a.m. anyway.When I asked the landlord about it and wanted to renegotiate the price, he offered me anti-ant spray!We fitters also look forward to a clean room, bathroom and bed after work.20 euros is still asking too much.Not recommendable!!!!!!!

Just bad. Ordered food, waited over 45 minutes, people who came after me had already eaten.The little lady, very unfriendly, doesn't keep what we had agreed on over the phone. Rent our actual rented rooms.Really bad shouldn't have given a star at all. According to people talking outside the door at 11 p.m., it wasn't at all.

A beautiful family business where warmth is very important. A functionally furnished, very tidy and clean room awaited us. The bathroom isn't exactly big, but it's sufficient and very clean. Parking spaces are available directly at the house. We would be happy to come back.

Since it is more of an accommodation for fitters, the breakfast times were very early. But it wasn't a problem to have breakfast a little later.The rooms are a bit old, but spotlessly clean and the mattresses are very good.We would like to stay there again.In addition to the menu, the restaurant offers changing daily specials, very tasty and inexpensive.

The hotel is located in the middle of the village, in a quiet area.The hotel is clean, but a little outdated.I had a single room.A bit small, with a balcony.The bathroom was clean and complete.TV and WiFi.Be careful, there is very little telephone network in the hotel.

I spent two nights in the inn. The rooms are not the most modern, but they are still equipped with everything and, above all, clean. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and the price is simply great. In the kitchen you can hear the schnitzel being made and everything being freshly prepared. The hospitality is particularly noteworthy, they are trying to find a solution. The inn is 10 minutes away from Amberg by car.

Good experience. Facilities are a bit old but the price is very fair. The employees are a bit rude but always friendly. Suitable for vacation or family trip if you like it rustic. The restaurant offers good home cooking. There is also breakfast but there really isn't much choice. Nevertheless, for the stated purpose I give it 5 stars.
