Beautiful monastery good for an inexpensive overnight stay to visit the city of Nuremberg or a visit to the trade fair. I found the room a bit expensive at 88-99 euros. The furniture was getting old. The bed was a bit shabby. The wet room exuded the charm of the 70s including yellow stains on the ceiling and mold on the shower door.Otherwise the room was clean and okay. The service is good and friendly. The breakfast was very good and plentiful.Everything was perfect there. The hotel is therefore highly recommended for a short stay.

Very nice staff, great location and a wonderful starting point for the city or hiking routes, good breakfast 👍, unfortunately access to drinks was closed in the evening. After the day of hiking, we would have liked to have had a nice cold drink at half past ten 😅

The only positive thing is the well-kept gardens around the monastery. The room was very plain and simple. No problem, but it should be clean and intact. The bed linen had various stains, the mattress was sagging, the table top had clear cracks. An unpleasant smell was constantly coming from the bathroom. There were only three hangers in the large closet. The TV reception was poor and apparently a matter of luck. The parking situation was a disaster. All parking spaces were full, so I had to park on the opposite side of the street. That's not a problem so far, but the extensive area meant that the journey with luggage was long and tiring. Ventilation was only possible to a very limited extent because the smoking area was under the room. The smoke and the loud conversations of the smokers kept coming into the room. When I checked in in the morning I wanted to book a place for dinner, but unfortunately I was turned away with the following words: we won't accept any more. The cook is out of meat.I wouldn't book a room here again!

I only give 4 stars because during our stay in July 2024 it was quite noisy because of a group of young people (Americans) and it was not quiet after 10 p.m.It also seems to me that the quality of the breakfast has declined compared to our previous stay.I found the parking inside the enclosure too small; once I had to park outside. If you want to stay there, take into account that you have to leave before 10 a.m. on the morning of the last day, it's a bit tight if you want to have lunch and pack your bags.for the rest things are going well, the situation suits us completely.
