Had a great vacation.Rooms great & clean, breakfast buffet great and really good selection, mega pool & outdoor area, location perfect within walking distance of the town with plenty of good restaurants, quickly also in larger cities....Most importantly, great, friendly operator!I'd be happy to come back!

Per- nice owner- Money back- old house with old smell but ok- Location okCons- Rooms only superficial and clean at first glance- Bed creaks with every small movement, even if it weighs less than 60 kg- Mattress very hard- Winter blanket in midsummer- Rooms facing the street and train line, sometimes very loud- Pool not tested, loungers made from pallets with mattresses and fitted sheets? not hygienic- Breakfast selection sufficient, but plates not clean, scrambled eggs lukewarm, sausage and cheese sweating under the bell- booked the hotel because of a dog suffering from osteoarthritis, as there is an elevator; Shortly before 10 p.m. it was switched off without any indication of it! It was 40 steps just to the front door and 40 steps back to the room! Upon request, the elevator is open at night for "safety reasons"?!?This review solely reflects our personal opinion. We also ask you to refrain from an (insulting - as can be read in other answers) answers from the owner.

Nice hiking hotel. Very quiet area, plenty of parking, easy to walk around and just pretty here. There is also a great pool a few meters away. It's outside but with a plastic roof like a winter garden so it's nice and warm inside, including the water. The hotel was also nice, had everything you needed and had a cheap drinks machine + check-in was contactless. Gladly again

An outdated Hotel Garni. The rooms have been renovated, but the substance is getting old.A vending machine where you can pull soda and beer upon arrival. Just like in the 70s. This can certainly be done in a more contemporary way. The service is excellent and the breakfast is completely sufficient.Yes and no for the future.

I had booked a single room. It was very spacious and clean. What I have to complain about is that the bed was very creaky and if you want to make yourself some tea in the evening, you should bring a kettle. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired.

Nice hotel with good breakfast buffet. Good location for dog owners, as it's directly in the forest. 1 point deduction for the rock hard mattresses. But that's a matter of taste.

Nice cheap hotel on the outskirts of the city... not too far away to eat in the city. Rooms are tastefully decorated. A bit outdated but still very homely. Breakfast buffet was very plentiful. Good choice. Is recommended. Good location for cycling tours

Rooms large and spacious, separate toilet, large bathroom. Some of the rooms are directly on the rails, and there is a lot of choice for breakfast. Staff is super nice

Nice, family-run hotel, the room was clean with a large balcony. Breakfast with regional products. Good information about the excursion destinations and sights in the region. The hotel is very quiet on the edge of the forest and has its own pool.

Very outdated hotel. Rooms were only renovated for nice photos, but if you look closely, a lot of things were done poorly on site.The bathroom: Shower wall broken and moldy. Rusted drain outside shower. Hot/cold control in the shower is hardly possible. From ice cold to boiling hot almost in a second (even though the setting on the tap was not changed). There is hardly any water pressure from the pipe. Washing hair is almost impossible if your hair is thick. Musty smell in bathroom and toilet. The wooden balcony is also getting old. Not very attractive on the third floor when you see the defects such as wooden floor boards sticking up. Balcony furniture: two chairs, one of which has a slight defect. Small folding table attached to the balcony. The rooms are very noisy. We could hear the roommate snoring and coughing all night long. No normal curtains available, only for darkening. When these are opened to allow for daylight, others (neighbors of the hotel) have a full view of the room. During the day (from 6:45 a.m.) there was a construction site at the railway crossing in front of the hotel that was not informed about. Staff in the hotel are in short supply. Camera in the breakfast room with no indication of it.

Unfortunately, it was no longer possible to complain about the room at 5:30 p.m. when we saw the room for the first time, as the reception is no longer staffed at that time. It was a very nice vacation.We were warmly welcomed and everything was well explained. The price was really great for us. This was the first vacation without parents for trainees/students. My dog was also allowed to come along and was warmly welcomed.The hotel was absolutely great, I will definitely come back with friends.
