I was a guest of the very friendly Ms. Forke for a long weekend and I really enjoyed it. It's a cute little guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. The rooms are comfortable and even met my standards of cleanliness (and that's saying something).The breakfast was delicious and more than sufficient.In Sengwarden there are no shops, restaurants or similar, apart from a small village shop. But everything can be reached quickly and easily by car.So if you really want to have some peace and quiet for a few days, in the middle of nature and far away from the hustle and bustle, this family-run and well-kept guesthouse is the right place for you.

Very nice guesthouse with a beautiful front garden and a beautiful garden behind the house. Rooms and bathrooms were great and everything was very, very clean. Excellent value for money.Highly recommended!

I went to Wilhelmshaven with a friend for a long weekend. I happened to find Ms. Forke's pension from the Internet. What luck. Instead of 2 single rooms, we got 2 double rooms at a bargain price of 40 euros per night. With breakfast an additional 8.50 euros. Absolutely great...Rooms nice and bright, clean, very quiet. The guesthouse is located just outside with a beautiful front garden and a large garden with a pond behind the house. All sights can be reached quickly. The breakfast room is bright and cozy. The breakfast with rolls, delicious coffee, plenty of cold cuts, jam and orange juice got the day off to a good start. Not the last time for me. Thank you very much Ms Forke.

Very clean and quiet guesthouse. Quietly located, with a beautifully landscaped front garden. In the rear area is the large garden with a pond and green areas. I don't know whether this is possible to use, but you have a nice view out the back. Advantageously, the guesthouse offers a large area/yard to easily park several vehicles. Breakfast was prepared for us in the morning and had everything we needed. What should be highlighted is the very tasty, good coffee that we got. We didn't miss anything in this guesthouse. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The "house ghost" whirls inconspicuously through the guesthouse and puts everything in order and, like the hostess Mrs. Forke, is polite and friendly in a Nordic way. No unnecessary chichi and texting. What needs to be said is said and it is good. Completely unobtrusive. We would stay here again.

My time out in a good house, with a delicious breakfast, very good coffee and a very clean single room. The guesthouse is embedded in a beautiful garden in a small town. Perfect starting point for me on the North Sea. Wilhelmshaven, Jever, Carolinensiel, Hooksiel, Schilling can be reached shortly by car. If the weather is better, it can certainly also be done as a day tour by bike.This guesthouse, with a very nice contact person, Ms. Forke, is highly recommended. Thank you!🌊🧶🌬️

Again, a nice, quiet accommodation with cozy, small (and very clean) rooms. At a low price of €30 per night in a single room, you can't go wrong here. When it comes to the additional breakfast, everyone has to decide individually whether 8.50 per person is appropriate. Otherwise a nice guesthouse in a quiet, sleepy town.

We (married couple, mid-40s) booked a night in a double room without breakfast in May to visit family in Wilhelmshaven.Positive: Room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, nicely furnished, very clean, it smelled pleasantly neutral, the bathroom was perfectly fine.Neutral: Hostess was curt. We only saw them for quick and uncomplicated key handover.Negative: there was a sitting area set up outside our bedroom window, where guests sat, chatted and smoked until after 11 p.m. in the evening and then again on Sunday morning from 7 a.m.The church clock next door also rings at night.Well suited for a short stay and for fitters etc. We personally wouldn't go on holiday there.

Very remote. 4 km to Hooksiel. But my room was great. I felt really comfortable in good German. Price-performance unbeatable! Delicious breakfast and nice landlady. I would book again at any time.

Very nice, family guesthouse.The rooms are well laid out and always very clean. Nothing is missing!The location is great, quiet, everything relevant to us can be reached in a few minutes by car, beach, shopping, town, village.You can tell the innkeeper has been doing this for several decades, nothing seems fake, it's honest, Frisian, direct.Have been here with and without children and will definitely come back.Price-performance cannot be beat here.
