I only ever come here to heat the wheat after jogging, but it works great for me. Quiet location with a beautiful view of Mainz. You can also put a currywurst or something like that on top. If you're planning a walk on the maaraue, then feel free to stop by

We used this campsite as a stopover and stayed two nights. The reception was very friendly and uncomplicated. The place is locked at night and during lunch breaks. In order to be able to leave or enter during this time, there is a key with a deposit. Which we didn't find annoying. The sanitary facilities were always clean when we visited. The showers have a decent jet.We found the nights to be very quiet.Hanging out on the terrace with wine, beer or cola was always fun and you have a beautiful view of the Rhine and the city of Mainz. The campsite is an ideal place to visit Mainz or Wiesbaden.

A great tent-friendly campsite. There are canopies with beer table sets on the tent meadow. They are super helpful against both heat and rain! And the staff is very friendly.

I thought the campsite was very expensive for what was offered. €40 for 2 people in a camper. In October, the late season... The showers show a lack of maintenance... It was not really clean.

Very nice campsite for bicycle campers. We stood here when we cycled the Rhine Route/Rheinradweg. And to be honest, we thought it was the best of all. And here's why:- A prominent place after the entrance. It's also nice not to be in a back field for once;- Three tables with a canopy for cyclists, useful for cooking and in bad weather;- Sandwiches and coffee nearby:- Special lockers where you could charge your navigation and telephone. Never experienced before:- Clean shower and sanitary facilities. A bit old, but clean;- Friendly managers, they give you all the information for a visit to Mainz;A campsite where I would like to return.

Campsite opposite Mainz. If there wasn't exactly the flight path to Fankfurt Airport, it would be a nice, quiet place to explore Wiesbaden and Mainz. Directly from the square there is a network of cycle paths along the Rhine and Main

The welcome was so unfriendly that I didn’t even bother to check in and decided to try my luck elsewhere.

This campsite is located on the Main. What I imagined was quite romantic. However, there is a cycle path there that is always used by many people at all times of the day and night. I found no peace there. The lack of toilet paper in the toilets also bothered me. So first check whether it has actually been filled up. A strange woman asked me if I could get her some toilet paper. We were there in August and the place was accordingly full. This place is definitely suitable as a stopover, but not for me to linger. All the best .
