A small, very well maintained and clean hotel. Standard room where nothing was missing. In the morning a delicious breakfast with the most important things, restaurant included, very friendly service. Check in is easy, you can call someone by phone or use the key box. All in all, definitely recommended!

80s charm...just works. Curtains crumpled, windows dirty, furniture, carpets and bed linen old and tattered...but clean. The breakfast rolls lost their pale shell when touched....I'm sorry....but they urgently need a make-over.

Solid food in a great atmosphere. The large chestnut tree in the beer garden is a highlight. Unfortunately, the street diminishes the impression of being too loud! The tables aren't close together outside, which is nice!

We were at an event here. The only thing that was good was the service staff. Very attentive and friendly. The buffet was very manageable, unfortunately the food was not seasoned and not suitable for vegetarians.Our room was really not okay. The furnishings are old, broken and dusty. Cobwebs, spiders and flies everywhere. I was very disgusted and could hardly sleep. Window facing the main street and very noisy.The breakfast was small, unfortunately no cut fruit or fresh vegetables.I'm very sorry to say this. But unfortunately for me it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Nice country inn about 20 minutes from Wolfsburg. Nice staff. Rooms facing the main street are quite noisy. It goes out the back. Rooms are fine and clean. Parking free. Breakfast was disappointing. Very simple and small. Also just filter coffee. I know it differently from small country inns.

We ate there at Christmas 2023 with over 20 people and in March with 11 people. Been there several times before and was actually happy with the food. The last two times: Christmas buffet was great: several meat dishes, fish, vegetables, various desserts. Only the wedding soup was thin and tasteless. Tried wedding soup again in March 2024: no, not recommended. But the vegetable soup was tasty. Some of the schnitzels were not cooked through, the breading was light and mushy. Service friendly. Restaurant + toilets clean.

We had dinner there with a larger group. Currywurst with fries was good, salad side dish was also great, the Jägerschnitzel had a breading that was soggy and didn't taste good at all. Typically pressed schnitzel made warm and not fried in a pan. Actually only 3 stars for that. The mushroom sauce is ok for that.

We made reservations for Christmas Day... but left very disappointed. The starter soup had no taste (not a hint of vegetables), the other dishes were cold, not cooked through and had no taste (no salt and no spices)...very disappointing!!!
