I stayed in the guesthouse for a few weekends because my wife was here for treatment. I felt very well. If you're looking for something to complain about, you'll always find something everywhere. Just not with yourself. You make an effort and everything is fine as it is with you and not everything is perfect in life. Keep it up...

It's a shame you closed the house. We felt very comfortable there and wanted to come back this year.I wish you all the best for the future. With best regards from the Black ForestK.-P. Rakutt

Clean and delicious breakfast. Atmosphere is very familiar and private. Come, shower, sleep, have breakfast and leave again. There's nothing more here, but that's all we were looking for.

One of the worst experiences I've had on an island vacation in many years. We were invited to a wedding and since there was no way to get off the island due to the storm, we had to find somewhere to stay for the night. After many phone calls we found what we were looking for and at first we were really happy. Apart from the difficult handover of keys because no one was available, the fun started late in the evening when we wanted to take a shower when we were cold - only cold water came. The room furnishings can either be described as 'retro' or simply old. But at least it's clean, except for the dark hair in the bed. Exactly the bathroom. Rust, furnishings like Grandma's, but almost clean. At breakfast, when she remarked that there was apparently something wrong with the hot water, she replied succinctly: "Well, that's just the way it is, you have to save electricity at night because there's no hot water. That's how it is on an island." Oh?When I pointed out that I found this answer rather questionable, I received no answer; the lady turned around and ignored me from then on. I didn't get my latte, but my friend at least got his tea.Breakfast was good so far, selection was okay, rolls too. When paying the final blow, when someone commented that there were a few things wrong, the snippy answer came: "You're lucky that we gave you the room, we don't normally do that for one night!"Normally I even understand that, but if there are no ferries and no planes flying because of the weather, what should you do? Sleeping on the street? For me anyway, it was the worst experience I've ever had on a North Sea island. Never, never, never again.

Wasn't always my case.Problems with the shower, hardly any hot water and the whole bathroom was a bit outdated. But breakfast was always good and the people were nice.
