We ate there and can't recommend it. The dumplings were gray and glassy and the roast pork from the cooking bag was dry and the rest of the food was bland and not worth the money. We can't say anything about the hotel, it seems as if it had stood still in the 70s.

We came across the hotel at short notice. It was like traveling back in time to the 70s in an absolutely positive sense. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, the dinner was really great and beautifully prepared in the old school way. We were warmly welcomed by the staff of the family business and served excellently. We also really liked the breakfast. When talking to the Keller (son) you can see that the business is run with a lot of passion, we can only recommend the hotel. The stay was simply great.

We can't say anything about the rooms, we were there for dinner today. Very nice welcome, extremely friendly. It is probably a family business, everyone tried very hard to make our stay a nice one. The food was very good and tasty. Unfortunately there wasn't much going on which we couldn't understand. The short walk away from the main road was definitely worth it.

Very nice, personal, well-kept restaurant that pays attention to detail. The service is very friendly and predictable.The senior in particular knows his craft of entertaining very well and is always very friendly.The social media presence, for example The website does not reflect the friendly personal nature and family generations of the restaurant/hotel. It is a classic example of how Braunlage has to adapt to the times, between the past and openness to the new!

We had dinner at the Berliner Hof and I have to say, it was very nice! I have never experienced such nice, attentive service. The food was totally okay!!! Yes, the restaurant is rustic and the food is also very tasty and everything is done with a lot of love!

We ate at the Berliner Hof restaurant. We really enjoyed the food and felt very comfortable. In the restaurant you feel like you have been transported back to the 70s in a very pleasant way. The food and drink were very tasty, the service was very competent and friendly. Absolutely recommended!

We can't say anything about the rooms, we only ate in the restaurant.It was simply beautiful, cozy atmosphere with popularly interpreted film tunes in the background. The food was very tasty, we had deer schnitzel and deer goulash. Price-performance unbeatable.The staff is warm, humorous and you can tell that it's in their blood.As far as the hotel is concerned, all we saw was that it was quite affordable and dogs were also welcome. For further overnight stays in Braunlage, we will probably check in here 😊Thank you for the lovely stay in your restaurant.
