Everything was neat and clean. You walk in and immediately feel like you used to when you visited your grandparents. You have to like the old but neat and well-kept furnishings, then you can feel very comfortable there.

Rooms in the style of the 70s. All clean. The balcony doesn't exactly make the safest impression and should be repaired. The breakfast was ok. OK for a weekend. Price reasonable.

A little journey back in time as soon as you enter the guesthouse. Everything in the style of the 70s, which brings back many memories. We had a very quiet room with a balcony. Everything was very well maintained and clean. There was also WiFi and TV in the room. Many thanks to the hard-working host! We had a very nice time with you!

We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were very well maintained and the bathroom was particularly clean - we really liked that. A small point of criticism concerns the balcony; the loose boards here should urgently be fixed by a craftsman.Another important topic is the mattresses. These definitely need to be replaced as they probably date from the 70s. Sleeping comfort suffers considerably as a result.

I spent a wonderful time (4 weeks) in this inconspicuous guesthouse; transported to another time, stylish down to the smallest details. You can switch off from the hustle and bustle of our time. Nevertheless, you don't have to do without the essentials (Wi-Fi, television). The staff matches the house! The physical well-being and the cleanliness of the rooms are taken care of in a friendly and courteous manner. Mr. Oesterle, who has known the area since he was a child, always has insider tips that he is happy to pass on. The price is second to none!

Perfect for a quiet, cozy break (and unbeatable for the price!). Fantastic surroundings, almost idyllic, a really beautiful house and a very friendly host. Very pleasant atmosphere that invites you to relax and inspire. Nice room, very cozy and clean (and the balcony is great ;-)) and the location on the river can be enjoyed as a view at breakfast. You are quickly in the countryside and have a great view of the beautiful place, with many sunny viewing benches. Ideal for hiking/walking. The breakfast was more than sufficient for me, also varied and the fresh coffee did not disappoint. Everything as hoped (and even better) in a "time machine atmosphere" in a beautiful breakfast room with pleasant background music that took me back to a time that I didn't even experience myself. Really an all around valuable experience. Nice conversations happened along the way. In the evening the gentle sound of the water helps you fall asleep - perfect. Mr. Oesterle is always concerned about everyone's well-being and is also happy to give good advice. There are plenty of options for warm food at lunchtime/evening in the area and the neighboring villages can be reached quickly.You can tell how much love has gone into the guesthouse (which is in really good condition for its age!) and the owners obviously care very much about the well-being of their guests.I didn't miss anything, I felt very well looked after there and would come back at any time.

The guesthouse is lovingly designed, but something urgently needs to be invested in the renovation of the building. The host himself gave us a very friendly welcome. The rooms are harmoniously furnished in the 70s and very clean. There is carpet in the rooms. The balcony could not be used (very dilapidated).

A very lovingly furnished, cozy guesthouse with very nice service at a really good price.Pension Österle is located on a quiet side street in Schönmünzach, directly on the river. We had a beautiful view of it from the balcony and at night you don't have any annoying traffic noise, just the calming sound of the river.The friendly boss himself welcomed us and escorted us to the room.What particularly struck us was the absolute cleanliness of the entire guesthouse.At this price you can't think of a better place to stay in the area.

Excellent stay in this pension. Welcome, very kind and impeccable service! You are in another time! Quiet, serene. Great cleanliness and good condition in the rooms, surprising. A little refreshing on the balconies would be expected, but this does not bother you at all. Pleasant and plentiful breakfast. Good price. Good location to discover the region on foot or by train. Incredibly lovely host in a very nice guesthouse. The beds have spring cores but are comfortable and clean. I slept wonderfully well. It's super quiet and not far from the train. You can hear the stream to help you fall asleep. The rooms are not vintage, but original from the 70s. The bathroom was also super clean. Breakfast small but nice, with freshly brewed coffee like grandma used to have.

We stayed in this guesthouse for 3 nights. From the outside everything looks in need of renovation, but inside we were surprised at how clean and tidy the house was. Everything is kept in the 60s style, but clean, intact and very original. In my opinion, the breakfast was very good, plentiful and tasty. A good start in the day. The location is fantastic anyway, I can only recommend this house.
