We booked spontaneously and were thrilled.Very nice hosts, nice room. The fridge is totally sufficient, there are enough shops in town to refill it every day. WiFi was available.I'm going on vacation to enjoy the area and not the WiFi (which I'm probably very critical of 😁).Conclusion: Great accommodation for us. Happy to come back!!

A very nice welcome, that was it. The accommodation is really beautifully located with a view of Lake Constance. Shortly after arriving we reported that there was apparently a problem with the WiFi, and the hostess acted surprised. On the platform we booked on, I was able to read that it was probably a permanent problem. There was no response other than “I’ll take a look.” If you advertise WiFi, you should also offer it in an appropriate manner. For me this point is a misrepresentation of facts.On the subject of rooms:But it no longer serves its purpose. The refrigerator is a joke, especially in summer. Here, too, our booking platform pointed out what the hosts had written that they had replaced this small refrigerator with a larger one. This was not the case for us or our roommates.Roommates, another topic! You share the balcony with your roommates without a proper separation; it scares you when your neighbor suddenly stands in the balcony door or you can directly hear snoring or other body noises.A word on the subject of hospitality: It is not hospitable if the host starts trimming the hedges shortly after seven in the morning and then picks up the hedge section with a combustion lawn mower.Conclusion: Suitable for a short trip of one or two nights if you want to see the festival in Bregenz. We have had many private accommodations in recent years, but this was by far the worst, and this does not take away from the beautiful landscape and surroundings.The almost 350 euros for four nights may be very good for the area, but not for the conditions.August 11, 2024, 2:45 p.mIn addition to your answer:I wouldn't call it a consistently positive response if other people on the booking platform you mentioned also complain about the WiFi or the refrigerator.The only thing I can tell you about WiFi is that the repeaters you are using are no good; you should rather use an active WiFi repeater to better support the MESH function of your Fritzbox. You have an overlay of signals in your house, which is why the Wi-Fi is so bad. During our vacation with you, I set my cell phone as a WiFi repeater via the app so we could use it. If you looked into the matter a little, you could have found this out yourself using a WiFi scan (Fritz offers it as a free app). But you don't seem to have noticed the comments about your poor WiFi on the booking platform, otherwise you could have already responded to them (small tip: AVM Fritz Repeater 3000). On the topic of “constructive criticism”! You are the host and should find solutions, not the guest.
