We were in this lovingly furnished restaurant for a wedding and were served a real culinary delight. This is food that impresses with the highest quality and exquisite ingredients. For me, this is a star restaurant. It's definitely not the last time we've eaten there and we're looking forward to the friendly and familiar atmosphere.

The rooms are getting old. The beds desperately need an overhaul. New pillows would also be really great, just nothing for your back and neck. I don't think an overnight stay with breakfast for €100 is appropriate. Breakfast was fine, everything you need. Somehow there was only one employee on site but somehow you couldn't ask anything and the dog wasn't nice either because he was constantly licking his legs - it probably belongs to the hotel. New beds and all is right with the world

Super delicious food. Great chef rooms were great too. We stayed at the hotel. Rooms were okay. Unfortunately there was nowhere to sit down with the family in the evening. From 20 the restaurant was closed and there was no room where you could sit down.

Family-run house. Very good cuisine. Located directly on the park of the small Sallgast Castle. Good starting point for bike tours, e.g. to the F60.

Appearances/names are deceiving!We were guests at the hotel at the weekend for a family celebration and were a bit disappointed. The name 'Schlosshotel' promises a lot - in reality the ambience is just average.The hotel and the rooms exude the flair of the last renovation (probably at the end of the 90s) and are overall more 'crowded' with decorations and things than appropriately 'furnished'.The website advertises with lots of food photos and it may be that event cooking and gastronomy for celebrations is part of the core business.Unfortunately, there was no sign of this at our breakfast. Buffet with packaged wholesale products, like in the hospital (butter packets/jam packets/chocolate spread packets). For the price of 10€ you probably can't expect more - but a little 'love' in the details would be worth an extra star!

Beautiful place. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Despite our late check-in (11:30 p.m.), we were greeted kindly and checked in quickly.Delicious breakfast.The hotel has a large and beautiful summer garden with a barbecue and a children's corner with a trampoline.I recommend!

Today Sallgast was on the agenda. Although there was only limited dining, they still accepted our reservation for lunch (we called an hour in advance).And it was worth it!The food was exceptionally original and absolutely delicious! The menu is clear, but perfectly tailored to the seasonal offerings. If you don't find what you're looking for, it's your own fault.And for our mom, who only likes small portions, there was an original and totally tasty variation of Quark Nase. With chanterelles and croquettes. The plate was empty afterwards.

A very nice hotel in a beautiful rural area, it is absolutely quiet at night so you can sleep very well. The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. The service is perfect and the staff is very friendly and helpful. . There is nothing to complain about at breakfast, it is fresh and very plentiful. Thanks to the great team, I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

A big thank you and congratulations to the kitchen! This stands out! We expected little and were pleasantly surprised. Here you can cook really well and even taste it (what a rare experience). The food is served just like at Weltmeisters, just not as pretentious. We ordered (oh, how banal) "schnitzel with fresh chanterelles", with fries instead of potatoes and got a small chamber concert on our plate. The generously large schnitzels breaded with panko breadcrumbs (attention!), the chanterelles in a well-seasoned cream sauce and the "fries" freshly cut in half slices, fried with the peel crispy, were simply top notch. The salad (very fresh, crunchy and aromatic) with shrimp - wonderfully prepared. The dressing, a well-seasoned vinaigrette, left nothing to be desired and the chef was even able to extract real flavor from the shrimp.Service: Friendly, personal, unobtrusive.Conclusion: We would love to come back!
