We dined, stayed overnight and had breakfast in Neumann's steamboat in September 2024 after a wine hike. Bathrooms and rooms were spacious, attractively and comfortably furnished, everything was in very good condition and very clean, the beds were comfortable. The night was absolutely quiet (both rooms face the land side, windows can remain open thanks to the fly screens). The dinner was delicious, plentiful and served quickly. The breakfast offered something for everyone, cereal, fruit salad, yogurt, raw vegetables, rolls, bread, cheese, sausage, eggs, tea or coffee and juice. The service was friendly, courteous and quick, even though it was busy; hardworking people! The location on the Elbe and the outskirts is very beautiful and offers many walking, hiking and excursion opportunities. It takes 10 minutes to drive to Meißen and just over half an hour to Dresden. Unreserved recommendation!

Went to this restaurant spontaneously today and didn't regret it. The food was not only visually appealing, but also completely convincing in terms of taste. The staff was very friendly. The view from the table was simply breathtaking. And all of this in a clean and inviting atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

After we have already stayed at Neumann's steamboat three times for a variety of events in the beautiful region and have always failed to express our satisfaction in writing, we have now finally and once again fully deserved it. We come from the Rhineland and have to travel over 500km, but the first and friendly greeting from the boss herself makes you forget any travel stress! Rooms are always tip top clean and in good condition, breakfast is small but individual and super fresh and tasty. The whole house is very well maintained and in great condition, the location is great and quiet, Meißen and the surrounding area are very beautiful and easily accessible. This owner-managed house is an absolute tip and we would give more stars if it were possible!! Of course we will come back and are already looking forward to it! Best regards from the “muscle boys from Koblenz”❤️

At the beginning we had to wait a little long for the drinks and the menu. But then the staff was really friendly. The food is good, the portions could have been a little larger for the price. But all in all good. Somewhat steep stairs to the guest rooms. There are parking spaces, but they are not enough if the house is full.
