The two of us stayed in the guesthouse for two nights in August 2024. There is a plus for the location of the guesthouse. However, the private parking space is in reality a street parking space. The room itself would be ok. But you can't lock the room directly overnight. It can only be locked via the adjacent winter garden, where breakfast can be had. One could discuss cleanliness. The shower walls and the joints in the bathroom are covered in black mold. In addition, the lamps are defective and the hand shower in the shower no longer holds up. I wouldn't recommend this room if you're allergic to dust. You are asked what you would like for breakfast. Which is nice. In short...it was greatly reduced to a minimum by the hosts. Our only request was... "I have to see what I have here." It seemed much more important to the hostess to offer the guests products from her own production (wine, sausage or handicrafts). Finally... Everyone has to decide for themselves. But it's hard when you have to pay money in advance for such a service.

First of all... The guesthouse actually has 1 guest room. In a quiet location and the old town and S-Bahn are easy to reach. That was a plus. A general overhaul would do the bathroom some good. The shower is full of black spots. The only thing that mattered to the landlady was that the heating wasn't on so much. That means she reduced the heating while we were away. Very appealing when the temperature is below zero and there are tiled floors in the room. Garbage wasn't removed within the 6 days and it was dusty. You also felt controlled by her. At the climax, she bustled around the room while packing and turned off the heating completely. We can highly recommend Meissen as a holiday destination.

A nice, small guesthouse, highly recommended with a very nice hostess.

We were warmly welcomed by the landlady. The room furnishings are no longer up to date and the bathroom is rather small, but everything is clean. The breakfast in the small, bright winter garden was ok and plentiful. There is a panoramic seating area with a view of the Elbe and a really beautiful flower garden. We were able to park right in front of the courtyard entrance and in just over 10 minutes we were in Meissen's old town on foot. Great for a short vacation.

The landlady struck us as very unfriendly when we greeted us. She greeted us at the gate with the words that she didn't know that we were bringing a small child with us. She was so surprised that she had to prolong this moment in uncomfortable temperatures. At some point we were allowed to stay. Thank you for that!Warm words, such as: I hope you had a pleasant journey, were out of place. We were offered breakfast, but we gladly declined. We didn't want to put the lady through any further strain.Cash is the only way to pay for your accommodation and please do so upon arrival.Your own car was not allowed into the yard, but had to be on the street.

A “dream” if I hadn’t come to Meißen to work. Nice and quiet accommodation with good views.
