The guest rooms in a very quiet yet central location are clean and completely sufficient for overnight stays and short trips. Perhaps less suitable for longer holidays.Ms. Märker, a very nice and always willing to talk hostess with lots of tips, who always has the well-being of her guests at heart.It's definitely not the last time we've been there and we'd love to come back.

We spontaneously spent a weekend in Meißen and booked this guesthouse at very short notice. There was an extra bed for our children so we didn't have to book two rooms. Mrs. Märker also offered breakfast for both of us free of charge. Thank you again for that. The rooms are clean and equipped with a refrigerator and kitchenette. It totally got us, since we were out all day anyway. The cathedral and the old town are only a few minutes' walk away and even the little one, aged three, was able to do everything on foot. Unfortunately we forgot to try the in-house ice cream, so we'll do that next time 😊

Really good as a craftsman for assembly.Very good breakfast, there are microwaves, kettles and cutlery in the rooms, what more could you want? It's really rare.A bit difficult to find, but in a quiet location.Gladly again if you have to work in the area again.

The location is great as a starting point for excursions and hikes. The rooms are clean, tidy and functional. Completely sufficient to stay overnight, but it wouldn't be our case for a vacation. Unfortunately, breakfast times are not negotiable; on weekends, 9:30 at the latest is quite inflexible. For 4 adults it was also very little breakfast.Note on Ms. Märker's answer: We asked for breakfast to be at 9 a.m. and that wasn't possible because a normal time for this is probably 8 a.m.

Very nice place to spend the night. As a family we rented 2 rooms for vacation. The rooms were connected, so we actually had a kind of apartment. With mini kitchen.The breakfast was delicious and well prepared. The rooms were cleaned daily. Everything was very clean. There was a seating area outside where it was wonderfully quiet to sit.Super nice hostess.The city is within walking distance. Very beautiful and with many good restaurants.

Nice little guesthouse with an owner who takes good care of the guests' well-being. The city can be reached on foot in 5 minutes and yet the guesthouse is very quiet and you don't hear any noise. Is recommended.

A nice accommodation located in a quiet area but still in the middle of everything. Albrechtsburg and the cathedral are practically around the corner and can easily be reached on foot. The price-performance ratio is great, the room was functionally furnished with a refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, modern TV, WiFi (free of charge). Our car also had a secure parking space on the property, free of charge of course. The breakfast was sufficient and always delivered on time. We felt very comfortable at Pension Märker and have already booked further stays. This is how vacation works!This good guesthouse has now become our “regular residence” for our business stays in the thousand-year-old city and region. A+R Graff

I had to spontaneously look for accommodation in Meißen (for a few weeks) and came across this one. We called and got a room straight away. I had a very, very friendly welcome, the boss is very, very sweet and nice and everything was totally uncomplicated. The rooms are very lovingly and beautifully designed and I always felt comfortable!Thank you again that everything worked out so well!

After a warm welcome, I came to a beautiful, clean room with everything you need, including a kettle. The bed has a wonderful cold foam mattress and cleanliness is checked daily. There is a small wooden bench in front of each ground-floor room. A wonderful silence invites you to rest and allows the batteries to be charged very quickly.
