A steak with some herb butter, fries and almost €30 should come with a side salad.

We were with a group of 23 people. over the weekend at the Steig-Alm Resort and I have to say, everyone was absolutely thrilledFrom the first telephone contact regarding the booking request to the farewell on the day of departure - every member of staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating! The rooms are tastefully decorated and actually very clean! The wait staff in the restaurant was absolutely attentive and tried really hard to serve us well! The ordered menus were served at the same time on beautifully decorated plates. Every dish was tasty and delicious! The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired! What I particularly liked was the really attentive and yet unobtrusive service of the ladies there! Compliment!Overall, the unanimous opinion of all participants was that a stay at the Steig-Alm Resort was really worth it and that we would definitely come back!

Very stylish rooms, with lots of pretty wooden elements. Very clean. Great location, especially for children with the wildlife park and climbing forest right outside the door.

Very average to rather bad food. It is obviously bought cheaply and sold expensively. There were four of us there and we ordered across the menu. XL grill plate with very tough, dry neck chops and beef steak. Almost rubbery. Chicken okay. Fried potatoes and fries were all cold and not well done. Schnitzel was okay so far. Kaiserschmarren is a we. Finished goods that are warmed up in the micro. Only works with sugar. The service is extremely nice and helpful. Overall, a very average restaurant in which the food is not okay or good enough. It's a shame actually. I think they're making good sales through the zoo and don't need to put in any real effort anymore.

The hotel is right next to the wildlife park and is super tidy. The breakfast is varied and, if desired, an egg can be served that is already fresh.

Chaos CafeFrom the entrance you are sent to a table “back in the middle” and then forgottenAfter asking several times, we only received a waffle and snack menu - drinks menu? None!So I ordered by chance - when someone finally came to order after calling...At least: coffees came quickly, waffles were also ok and freshService hopelessly overwhelmed in the approximately half full outdoor area and empty indoor areaWe won't come again

We were there as “external” people for breakfast! (You have to reserve a table in advance)The buffet cost €18 per person!Since we were there on a Tuesday, it was very quiet in the breakfast room, more recommended than on the weekend!Everything was plentiful and was always replenished; attentive, friendly service!Very nice atmosphere, quiet, pleasant music in the background!Addendum from 9/18/24Today we had breakfast there again with the Schlemmerblock! Unfortunately I didn't ask for the current price when making the reservation (unfortunately you can't find it anywhere on the internet 😔)When choosing the buffet, I noticed that some things that were still available last year (e.g. salmon, Camembert, tomatoes with mozzarella, etc.) were no longer visible! 🙃Some of the rolls were baked rolls, no grain rolls!Apart from fried or scrambled eggs there was nothing warm! Then it was time to pay €24.50 (€6.50 surcharge in one year 🙈) for breakfast - the price-performance ratio also fitsGourmet block no more! We'd rather go somewhere else for breakfast where we can get more for less money!Very unfortunate!!!
