We've been there for the third time now and we're always thrilled. The houses and apartments are top equipped and beautifully furnished. We had a house with a sauna that we used every day.The location on Lake Dümmer and the facility's facilities with playgrounds and activities are also great! We will definitely come back!

Actually a very nice complex with nice accommodation. Unfortunately, it seems to be used mainly by drinking tourists, so even in the playgrounds there are groups standing around with beer cans and the bass booms until late into the night. I think management should think about which target group they actually want to address. Because a stay for families with children is no longer necessarily recommended. It's also a shame that everyone is trying to make additional profits. For example, a high chair costs €10, which I have never seen anywhere. But it probably also fits with the fact that families with children are not necessarily the target group. The check-in (4 p.m.) and check-out (10 a.m.) times are also bold.

The only downside is that everything is in German, as in absolutely everything. As well as that there may be some challenges regarding communication as several employees around the site do not speak English. However, it is 100% certain that I will come back in the next several years.

Apartment:+ great facility+ (almost) everything clean and tidy+ absolutely comfortable beds- Sink faucet reacts to movement; This makes washing up difficult and damp - especially with the very small cooking area. In my opinion, this is not water-saving or similar either.Arrival and departure+ smart wristbands instead of room keys- Long queue in front of the reception upon arrival, the online check-in could not be carried out and time was saved; All visitors waited in a queue, so you sometimes had to wait 60 minutes. There was a bit of chaos in the reception car park due to the crowds of visitors and cars; Note: I'm judging the New Year's Eve weekend here, so waiting times on arrival may not necessarily be up to standard.- Getting to our apartment was difficult - especially in the dark; Paths for cars are very narrow, so sometimes the car has to back up on the path in case there is an oncoming car; The apartment's parking lot was not next to the apartment, but about 100m away+ Departure was very quick, as only the wristbands had to be thrown into a containerResort:- Dog feces on and near the sidewalks- Baby pool in the swimming pool was cold (first day only); Still annoying if you only get this information in the swimming pool ; Information directly at the entrance would be useful here- all other parking offers were not included in the price- Path along the lake is very narrow; Pedestrians and cyclists quickly get in each other's way hereService:+ Staff nice and friendlyCONCLUSION: Light, but also a lot of shade and potential for improvement. I can imagine that things will perhaps settle down here. However, we wouldn't go there a second time. In my opinion, price-performance - not even over New Year's Eve, when demand may be higher - is not right here. Competitive offers we know of are stronger here.

Great park, in the middle of nature.Lake and dog beach nearby. We had house 343, which is on the edge and so we had a really great location with a small lake in front of the terrace. Our dog felt very comfortable and of course we did too.The staff were all very friendly. Since we were there over Christmas (the other houses around us were unoccupied), I have no idea what it's like when the park is fully occupied in the summer.

Very beautiful and large holiday complex with everything that converts your heart. Direct access to the lake and dog beach. Many different playgrounds, a shop for everyday needs, restaurants, swimming pool and an indoor playground, what more could you want? But there are also a few restrictions. The prices for all services are relatively high. The development is narrow, so privacy on the terrace is only available in the outer houses. Some of the parking spaces are located directly in front of the terrace.

When we left, we stripped the beds and were shocked to find that there were both mildew and urine stains on the mattress. Really disgusting and definitely not acceptable for the high price of the apartment. Immediately afterwards we reported this to the check out staff, who stored it in the system and sent it on to Booking. For a refund we would have to contact Booking, who would then deal with the holiday accommodation. Now we received feedback from Booking that the holiday accommodation would not refund us anything because we had reported the problem so late and therefore no exchange or anything similar could take place. How could we have known before we left that there would be mildew and urine stains on the mattress? We did notice a strange smell, but that wouldn't have given us the idea to put on the beds. In general, I have never stripped a bed before leaving and inspected it for possible stains. This is just an absolute disgrace. To demand so much money for accommodation with these defects and then not even want to refund anything. The cleaning staff should have noticed these deficiencies before we arrived when we were making our beds. The problem was probably simply ignored. In return, however, forgotten garbage bags will be charged very high. Luckily we knew this and didn't have to pay any extra costs, but I think there are double standards here. Pure money-making and no accommodation for mistakes on the part of the holiday accommodation!
