A very nice hotel with very friendly staff in a very quiet location. The highlight for us was the Burgtherme. The massage was excellent.

My husband and I were day guests at the Burgtherme. First of all, the ambience was striking. It's all very nice and harmonious. The sauna is very simple in our opinion. There are 2 saunas at 90 and 60 degrees and a steam room.Unfortunately, no infusions are made, which was a big negative point for us.The lounge areas are nice. You can only go to the swimming pool in swimwear. This is important to know, in other saunas you go swimming naked. The nice lady gave us rental bathing suits. The service is very good, and the range of drinks is also nice.Afterwards we had dinner in the restaurant, which was a highlight. Conclusion: We won't be going to the sauna here anymore. We'd love to come back for dinner.

We were here as return visitors with our family of four (children 6 and 8). Last year we were initially surprised and pleased that a wellness hotel even offered something for families. Just one year later, it has lost almost all of its family-friendliness. The wellness area is now only available for ages 12 and up. This rule was justified with the freedom of textiles and the rest area. On the first evening we were disturbed in the sauna by some ladies who were happily enjoying their cans of champagne in the corridor and getting louder (despite the sensible ban on alcohol in the wellness area). This is tolerated, a tip for stag parties, you are obviously welcome here. And we decide together with the child whether my child will be clothing-free; we don't need Vila Vita Management to go overboard. It should also be mentioned that freedom of textiles is not taken too seriously here; swimsuits are obviously accepted. It is also written in the bathing area that children should please behave calmly. Here the label is “family-friendly”, but bans only apply to children. We would have liked to make this an annual visit and, due to its previous family friendliness, would have overlooked the other shortcomings such as the clearly outdated rooms and the hefty (previously reasonable) price. We give two stars for great staff and good food.

Very nice wellness hotel that still has some catching up to do with the rooms. Glory of old days. Our bathroom has probably already been renovated. Breakfast was good, everything you needed was plentiful. The wellness area was a little confusing at first, but once you searched through it was very nice. Unfortunately the swimming pool cannot be visited without clothes 🙄 but it is a nice pool. The saunas were completely okay including drinks that were available free of charge. What I was missing was a swimming pool or pool to cool off in.We had a Mydays voucher and over €200 was charged for an additional day, which we didn't take...

All in all, just solid. Really poor quality for the price when you compare it to other accommodations. You have to like the ambience, otherwise you might think that it has stood still in time. 40 years ago. The beds weren't that good for us, especially the mattresses made strange squeaking noises. Maybe already adapted to the slightly older target group? The breakfast was okay and filling enough. However, the rolls were great, which also has to be said about the rest of the taste, the quality is good. Unfortunately the prices are not comparable to other accommodations. I can also pay €90 a night for a good breakfast. Here it was €215. There's also a service fee, which I honestly think is really cheeky; you could take that into account and sell it as a "real" free service. We almost fell behind at the buffet. The quality and the staff were top in every respect, as was the selection, but for over €40 we would have expected more. But that's probably the price these days. If you want the minimum wage, someone has to pay it. Although I can imagine that there is even a little more than the minimum wage here. The staff is top. Would I come back? Not at the prices, but there is definitely another customer group for whom it is worth it. Just because it says 4 stars doesn't mean it has to be expensive. I know competitors that are cheaper and at least of the same quality. However, the adjacent forest and wilderness park are really practical and very beautiful.

The hotel as a whole looks as if nothing had happened there in the last 30 years. Stand 80s “charm”.The room was very small and dark, which was made worse by the sloping ceilings. There was only a very small window through which hardly any light came through, even in broad daylight. An old-fashioned ceiling light didn't make it any better. The bed was very uncomfortable which resulted in both of us not getting enough sleep and back pain in the morning. Similar comments could also be heard from the neighboring table at breakfast.BTW breakfast: The breakfast buffet in the inexpensive Hotel am Ballermann/Mallorca was much richer. The crowning glory came at the end when checking out when, for a room price of just under €190/night, they asked for a €4 “service fee”.All in all it wasn't worth half (to us).For these prices you can expect more and you can get it elsewhere.
