Staying at the Rheinblick was an imposition. The room was crawling with bugs, little flies were buzzing on the ceiling, little spiders were sitting in the corners, the ladybugs were the nicest thing in the room. The nocturnal visit of the large angle spider gave me the rest.The window had to be kept closed, the air in the small room was limited. Even if this is normal in the country, I would expect fly screens on the windows in such conditions. The bathroom only had a tiny sink, the associated faucet distributed the water generously over the whole body. The shower also distributed the water in all directions.Between the mattress and the bed there was dirt from previous guests.The floor and wall were stained.The beautiful view of the Rhine cannot make up for this.There is not enough parking space at the hotel so we had to park our vehicles outside.On the other hand, the food in the restaurant was really great, good service, delicious food, huge portions and reasonable prices.

We ate there yesterday with four people, great location with a view of the Rhine. Unfortunately, the parasols on the terrace were not opened because it was too stormy and the owners would be responsible for any damageHowever, it was extremely hot, which limited the enjoyment somewhat despite the beautiful view. My tip: get more stable parasols!The food was good, the wine too!

We ate in the restaurant and were very satisfied. Varied dishes such as the Rösti-Salmon Burger. Nice service. Beautiful location with a view of the Rhine

Always nice. Good food, delicious wine and good value for money.And not to forget, the magnificente View of the Rhine, especially from the terraceUpdate 2023... Price/performance no longer fits and only convenience food... What a shame

We had dinner here with the family last Sunday and we all really enjoyed it! The waitresses were very friendly and the waiting time was on point. I particularly recommend the Camembert cranberry schnitzel, super tender meat, deliciously prepared. The ambience is something completely different with its purple walls and the “Rheinblick” almost brings a ship atmosphere to the lunch table.One thing: my wheat beer could have been tapped a little better, with more foam haha, but that's really just a minor thing. :)Gladly again!

Once and never again!!!!If you want to experience cutlery being thrown or an employee having a choleric fit in public - you've come to the right place - all in front of several children sitting at the table!Never in my life have I seen a stranger approach someone like that and behave so badly!Food quality: Asparagus underground 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Kindness 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Complaints manager 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Customer friendliness 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Service 👎🏻👎🏻Dealing with stress (due to full tables) 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Unfortunately, in 2 out of 3 orders of “schnitzel with asparagus and hollandaise sauce” the asparagus was inedible (woody, hard, watery, fibrous and poorly peeled - that can happen).As I was clearing the plates, when the waitress asked me in annoyance whether something was wrong (there was a good half of the portion of asparagus left on the plate), I said that the asparagus was fibrous and woody. She looked angry and took the plate with her. My husband also had bad luck with the asparagus and kindly informed the waitress. She took the plate without saying anything.I had lost my desire for asparagus - and I wasn't offered a substitute.My husband then got a new plate with asparagus and schnitzel. This was also hard, impossible to cut and fibrous. When the waitress saw that he wasn't eating, she shouted from the counter asking if something was wrong again?!She cleared the plate and we asked for the bill - we had finally lost our appetite.Suddenly an employee came out of the kitchen with a plate. She threw the plate on the table, cut through the asparagus, messed up the food and shouted: “The asparagus is good!!! what can you think of!!! they are stopping the whole operation!!! Do you know how much time that costs!!! etc - then she threw the cutlery into the cellar!! And kept shouting, the asparagus is okay, etc.The children at the table were totally shocked, when they asked them to stop shouting because children were sitting at the table, the screaming and raging continued.Absolutely unprofessional behavior - I've never experienced anything like that!Once and never again!!!!

Unfortunately we had to witness a sad scene at the neighboring table in the restaurant yesterday.Here, guests had apparently complained about something about the food, whereupon an angry "manager" started picking at the guest's plate and then throwing the cutlery onto the plate.To make matters worse, there were also several younger children there.After that we didn't feel like lingering anymore either!

Do you want to be treated like scum in a restaurant? Then you have come to the right place.Do you want wood-flavored asparagus? Here too you have come to the right place.If you then want to complain, the person in charge will first be ordered to the table - after the food has been returned a second time - they will scream - impossible in my opinion... chops around on the customer's plate and then throws the cutlery into the previously chopped food.As a staff member in such a position, you should already know what you can afford and what you should leave behind. There were also four children sitting at the table. Great role model!

We were there for dinner today with 4 adults and 4 children.The quality of the food was okay, but with two plates of asparagus we had the problem that it was woody and, above all, not cooked through.After a complaint, they were replaced after a long wait.The substitute was now cooked for a long time but still woody.After we had it returned and said straight away that we were no longer waiting for it to be repaired and would simply be happy to pay, the owner came to our table in a rage, shouted at us and cut the asparagus, gesticulating wildly, to show how great it was was. Then she violently threw the cutlery onto the plate and continued to shout at him: “We would stop the whole business here.”The request, especially for the sake of the children, to shift down a few gears was simply ignored.This behavior is an absolute disgrace! I hope that as many people as possible read this before their visit and think twiceThink about whether you would like to do something like that.

The Rheinblick is ideally located to fortify yourself after a hike, as the train station is diagonally opposite. But you also have a wonderful view of the Rhine.The food is excellent and the prices are still ok.

The wines were mediocre to good.The chanterelles for €7.50 are far too little to accompany the schnitzel.The food came without cutlery.The view is very nice.There is considerable potential for improvement here with simple means.
