We wanted to postpone the booking to another date due to illness. We gave the accommodation the freedom to choose the date, since we are in the role of the “requester”. Unfortunately, there was no response from the property. We have fully covered the cancellation costs, but will not book again. Maybe you can follow the trend of the times and offer appropriate cancellation options, even if you have a lot of customers in the Rheingau and customer service is therefore apparently "not a must". Thank you for the great and uncomplicated spontaneous booking! We found ourselves at this hotel unplanned. Although everything was occupied, they quickly improvised a two-bed room for us. Despite the full occupancy, the service was extremely friendly and quick. You immediately felt welcome. Great location, ideal for hikers and cyclists. Even though it was full, we didn't find it noisy.

A small, idyllic hotel in the middle of the vineyards! The location is super quiet and could be an absolute oasis! The rooms are clean!! ButUnfortunately, the hotel is not suitable for allergy sufferers at all! The hotel is definitely past its best years! The rooms are very old fashioned, very spartan! The carpet, I don't know how long it's been in the hotel! The pillows are made of feathers, but we don't know exactly how old they are! Unfortunately we had to leave at 5:00 a.m. tonight because both my husband and I have extreme allergic problems!And the hotel is very noisy

We stayed there for 1 night and found it in need of renovationRoom “slept”! This room should never have been rented out in the first place!A “no go”. When I complained, they just said that yes, they knew about the condition of the rooms and that they would be renovated soon! No accomodation, nothing! Never again!

The hotel was recently taken over by new owners.Service and food are absolutely first class, the new owners try to make all wishes possible.Highly Recommended.Rooms are scheduled to be renovated in the next few months

We stayed at the Hotel Kühns Mühle with a group of 12 people over a long weekend. We really, really liked it. We will always have positive memories of the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees. The breakfast buffet was great, especially for the price. The food in the restaurant is also highly recommended: we had Indian dishes, pasta and schnitzel - everything was very tasty. The location of the hotel in the middle of the vineyards is fantastic. Many sights such as the Johannisberg and Vollrads castles are within walking distance. The rooms were a bit old, but they were sparkling clean and had everything you needed.Thanks to the hotel team for the great time!

A few km from the Rhine in the middle of the vineyards, this cozy place appears.Great service and a kitchen that can cook. Beautiful hotel in the middle of the vineyards. The location is very idyllic and quiet, the couple who run it are very friendly, the rooms are a bit dated but very clean. The shower and shower curtain are relatively small and you have to let the water run for quite a long time until it gets warm. There is probably a timer here and I was just too early. The breakfast buffet was clear but very high quality, and still offered everything you needed. The price-performance ratio is right, and anyone who wants a relaxing hiking weekend is in good hands here.

Stayed in the guesthouse for two nights.If you love peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. In the middle of the vineyards, very quiet on a former mill.The rooms are a bit old, but clean and comfortable.Everything was there for breakfast too. Homemade jam and freshly cut fruit salad were very tasty.Eating in the restaurant is highly recommended. Everything fresh from regional products and cooked with love. The schnitzels were freshly prepared every time. The spaetzle and goulash were also excellent.A very good price-performance ratio!

This is a small hotel (pension) that a winery has developed as a sideline. It's somewhat hidden in a valley among the vineyards north of town, away from the Rhine, and therefore very quiet (though there is occasionally some noise from the well- water pump in the front yard). We arrived for the early-afternoon check-in time; at first, no one was there, but then one of the owners returned with child in tow saying she was delayed due "grandma duty".We stayed in one of two rooms that open directly onto a terrace with the parking lot/driveway immediately in front of that, so it's sort of wheelchair accessible (I unfortunately didn't look closely at the room entrance to be able to rate it more accurately). The rest of the pension, as well as the reception, breakfast room and restaurant, is reachable via steps to a charming patio one flight up (it's pretty but, unless there's a lift somewhere that I didn't spot, not wheelchair accessible).Conversation was in German, so I can't comment on staff readiness to speak English, but most room signs had English translations.
