We went to Rotenburg for a school trip. By far the best youth hostel I've ever been to! Above all, the team is helpful and competent. Our class even had its own hallway (although there were no showers or toilets in the rooms). Everything was clean, the food was good and there was a lot to choose from. The outdoor facilities were great! Even though we had a very hot week, it was bearable because a lot of it was covered or in the shade.

This youth hostel completely convinced us on our school trip: always friendly staff at reception and kitchen (despite the full house), clean and modern rooms and bathrooms, very tasty and rich food (for both meat and vegetarian eaters), great outdoor area, good Program offering. You can easily arrive by train, your luggage can be transported through the JH and the walk from the train station to the JH is easily manageable in 30 minutes. We can only recommend a stay there!

Please do not send your children there under any circumstances. Why can't you show respect for children who don't eat pork? Although the kitchen was told there was pork for Muslim children.3x pork within 5 days. The children could then only eat rice or potatoes. It's a shame, it's 2024, why can't people still take into account that Muslims don't eat pork?
