Chalet No. 1 occupied for 5 days.The size is OK for 2 people with a dog. Some of the furnishings are not in the best condition. But the kicker is that you have to pay €65 for cleaning and you don't get the room clean. And mold in the bathroom is a no-go.The rental price is really not OK. But the location is great. But I'd love to add a few euros and get an apartment in the center next time.

Great holiday apartment!It was recently renovated and was very clean. The location is quiet, perfect for relaxing. About 10 minutes walk to the beach.Dog-friendly facility! (Fenced property, many hiking trails, adjacent forest, dog beach approx. 15 minutes)The owners are very open-minded and friendly.You can rent bikes and SUPs very cheaply (much cheaper than on the beach)In short: clear recommendation!! We had a great vacation and will be back!

We stayed in holiday apartment C2 for a week as a family of 5 with a dog. The apartment is very well equipped and modernly furnished, we didn't miss anything. The location is great, right next to the forest. The beach is within walking distance. Everything is great!Depending on the weather, the WiFi is sometimes good, sometimes bad. But that didn't bother us because we don't go on vacation to "hang out" on the Internet. The operators are very friendly and always open to questions and suggestions!We had a great time and will definitely come back!

I was here with two children. It was very good for both of them, they were able to use the area. The location is ideal due to its proximity to the forest. The landlords are very friendly and try to eliminate defects. We felt really comfortable and would love to come back.

We booked house number 6 for 5 people with 2 children and 2 dogs. Unfortunately the accommodation was so dirty that we were really horrified. You couldn't see through the windows. The balcony was absolutely horrible, dirty and not prepared for visitors. The shower head was not adjustable (broken off), the towel holder was wobbly. The guest toilet could not be used because it was brown inside from the water, the shelf in the children's room was broken off, candy wrappers under the bed, the bedding had stains, the curtains were yellowed and dirty, as was the couch, the floor was wobbly and something broken in some places. Walls were full of holes or had only been painted over in some places, filled with fillers, the terrace roof was dirty and only half there, the barbecue area was muddy and dirty. We informed the landlord the next day (the duvet was then replaced) and she wanted to wait until after we left to open the windows. Um yes...! We were told that everything was renovated 1.5 years ago but it certainly wasn't professional. It's a shame because Kellenhusen is beautifully located and perfect for a vacation. The apartment has potential with the location and size. Beds were comfortable and the whirlpool was a nice extra.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We rented a comfortable house. Mold in the bathroom joints, very old standard (for example, the toilet had no flush stop function), musty.Some of the playground is getting old. For example, you could only access the trampoline using an old garden chair instead of a ladder.You have to pay extra for electricity. Since the houses are very poorly insulated and only have electric heating, I don't want to know what you have to pay for them in winter...Otherwise the location was nice and the landlord was nice too.

Were very disappointed with this holiday home comfort. There was hardly any cleanliness. Kitchen was nice though. Everything was there. Everything else: oh well!Won't be coming back again

The location right on the edge of the forest is perfect for dog lovers... and for people who are looking for peace and quiet... but you shouldn't be picky here... the vacation here was perfect for us...

We (with two dogs) have come to Kellenhusen a few times and know one or two holiday apartments including campsites. This time we decided for the first time to go to the holiday resort “Am Walde” Chalet C6. Alex and Tina are the really nice landlords who always have an open ear. The chalet was completely to our liking. Quietly located in the middle of nature, you can still easily walk to the beach or go shopping. Despite the fact that there are several chalets next to each other, you are on your own. We enjoyed listening to nature on the terrace during breakfast or dinner...equipment, sleeping, furnishings...everything was absolutely OK. All in all 5 stars because it was simply a perfect holiday for us and we will book with Alex and Tina again as soon as possible for next year.Best regardsAnke and Ralf with Balu and Anton

We enjoyed the vacation very much. The location of the holiday complex is great. (Quiet and right next to the forest)We had a house with a fenced garden. Ideal for dog owners! The forest invites you to take long walks, there are dog beaches and the promenade is very beautiful. We'll definitely come back here.The landlords are extremely friendly and you immediately feel at home. Thank you!

Just pure relaxation! We book our retro forest cottage every year and feel really comfortable. If you're looking for luxury and frills, this is the wrong place. Here you live in the middle of nature, on the edge of the forest, where rabbits and deer walk right along the terrace. Maintaining this huge area is a life's work! A true paradise for our dogs. You are immediately in the forest and the beach and bakery are also quickly accessible. Alex and Tina always have an open ear and are always in a good mood. And even if there are some people who write bad reviews, you should take another look at the booking price, which is unbeatable, given this location and the peace and quiet you get here!

Everything was great, the only drawback is the hot water. This is difficult to adjust and does not maintain the temperature. Apartment, area and landlord top. Dog-friendly, which also applies to the whole of Kellenhusen.

The apartment has everything we need. Very cozy and comfortable. Less than 10 minutes to walk to the promenade. Landlords are very friendly and accommodating.A small deduction because the water pressure in the shower is low and the water is either too hot or too cold.

This resort is located in a quiet forest setting. We came here for the third time with our dog and were very satisfied again. This time we had apartment C5. Due to the steep stairs, it shouldn't be a problem for the dog to sleep separately from its owners (or you can carry your loved one up and down).The owners are very helpful, friendly and flexible.The only small drawback: Unfortunately, the WiFi often did not have a stable connection. But a vacation isn't just for playing around on your cell phone ;)We will always have fond memories of this vacation as it was the last with our four-legged friend.
