Perfect hospitality, the owners were friendy and willing to help with anything we need. Clean room and quiet area, it felt like home and the food was absolutley amazing. Try the quiche!Beautiful surroundings to walk, very close to the forest and nature.Recommending it 100%

I have been a regular guest at the Effelder Bürgerstube for many years. We are always welcomed very friendly and warmly.The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was so rich that unfortunately we could never eat it all.In the evening we like to drink one of the good wines that Peter Schönfeld has in the house.It's very far out, which is why it's nice and quiet. Practical for cyclists who do their rounds in the area.

We were very lucky and were able to spontaneously be guests of the Schönfeld family on our bike tour. We arrived in Effeld in the evening and were given a very warm welcome!Despite the closed company, we were still able to enjoy a wonderful meal! We were allowed to store our bikes in a lockable garage and charge them free of charge.We were given an apartment as a room. Simply great, it's a shame that we were only able to spend one night there. Another highlight was the breakfast. Very lovingly prepared, nothing was missing!We'll definitely be back!

We got to know this lovely restaurant during a trip. Since we only wanted to eat a little something, we were offered an omelet and "Strammen Max" with a side salad. It sounds simple, but it was so fresh, tasty and lovingly prepared, we had a lot of fun! Thank you to the friendly owner couple. We'd love to come back.
