Coming from Düsseldorf, we love going hiking in the Eifel. 🥾🥾♥️ Since hiking is known to make you hungry, we've eaten at the great Landgasthof Schröder twice now. It is highly recommended to reserve in advance: we were lucky once and of course made a reservation the second time. 👍 The atmosphere is modern, cozy, the food is excellent, really tasty and at very fair prices! The employees and Mr. Schröder personally are very nice and attentive: the focus is on the customer and his wishes. Everything is prepared very freshly and the “location” is spotlessly clean. 👍There is parking right in front of the door and we will definitely be staying at the hotel soon. This restaurant is a crystal clear recommendation! 👍👍👍

Friday evening we wanted to eat something. Shortly after 6 p.m., there were only two tables occupied in the restaurant. The service person then told us she was all alone and wouldn't be able to do it. And goodbye. Great inn. Unfortunately our room landlord was right. You already warned us. Like many, we would probably be turned away.

After a long hike, we were looking forward to a coffee to strengthen us. Unfortunately, the innkeeper was unable to prepare three coffees despite the empty restaurant. So sad :-(

We were able to celebrate our communion here this weekend.Even before the celebration, the contact was very friendly. The boss showed us the room (large private room) and advised us on our choice of food (buffet). Bringing your own food (dessert and cake) was not an issue at all and was even accepted for cooling in the evening before the celebration.Even spontaneous changes were taken into account.We had a wonderful celebration and were served excellently. The food was a dream - we were completely satisfied. Our guests also commented consistently positively.Gladly again!

Excellent food, fine wines, fresh Bitburger Pils on tap.Here at Schröders we had a delicious meal on our motorhome trip through the Eifel. The kitchen is characterized by special and freshly prepared dishes. Definitely a top recommendation in the region. We will be back.

Yesterday we went back to the country inn with friends. The food is simply incredibly delicious 👍👍👍👍👍The restaurant was full (better to reserve in advance) and the service was really busy. Nevertheless, we were served very nicely. Unfortunately, Mr. Schröder can only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays because there are no staff in the kitchen as well as in service, as he told us. That's a real shame, but it's not an isolated case in the catering industry.Nevertheless, we had a wonderful, fun evening and it's clear that it wasn't our last visit.Simply recommended 👍
