It's okay to get out for a while.Positive: everything was clean, the price was right.Negative: the bungalows are a bit shabby. The seal on the shower door was broken.The windows are old and you can feel the cold. Without the fireplace we would have frozen. A bag of around 8kg costs €8.50, you should expect 2 bags per day.Max. temperature adjustable to 22°C during the day, with night switch-off. It gets very cold at night, which makes it uncomfortable for small babies without appropriate protection from the cold. It's also not possible to stay up late without freezing.Next time we'll bring a fan heater or turn on the gas stove. :DP.S. You have to be fit or drive... the whole facility is on the mountain.

What a beautiful place it is. There are several parts. You have the camping part downstairs and the bungalows are on top of the mountain.We sat in the camping area. What a beautiful caravan! Nicely clean and tidy. The space itself is not very large, but it is fine. We were helped very kindly. And received very hospitably! Compliments to the gentleman from the camping section! The view there is really amazing, something we did not expect. The camping sites and especially the Mobile Homes are definitely recommended!

Beautifully located, quiet campsite with a wide range of entertainment. Safari tent is recommended, because they are fully equipped.The minus point regarding the campsite itself is that everything is dated and will hopefully be renovated soon. Yet this campsite gets 5 stars from us (purely because of its location).

Nice holiday park, only with the houses.Cleaning is not always good, but generally it is good.You can take wonderful walks from the park.The restaurant is also good, don't expect star meals, you won't get them there, but for a holiday park it is good.Or else just use the kitchen yourself

From our house (no. 60) to reception is a long steep climb, you do that once and then you take the car. WIFI and internet connection are poor, the transmission tower is behind the mountain I think, there were also some defects in the house but the service technician fixed it quickly.Beds are 80x190, too short for me, but the mattress is good.The rest of the house was fine and the park restaurant also gets a plus.

We had a house with a sauna in a very quiet park in the middle of nature. The view from the living room over the valley was beautiful. The house is getting old and no longer meets expectations.WiFi was often not available. The sauna worked perfectly.The bedroom is very small, so you can hardly get past the bed and the bed is very uncomfortable. The living room is large and flooded with light.The guest toilet is very small.Using the electronic key is very practical.The report of damage was responded to immediately.The cleanliness was okay, although some things were "worn".The place doesn't have much to offer, but the hiking trails are well signposted and easy to walk.

The location of the park is beautiful, but there are many height differences. The terrace location of the houses usually gives you a beautiful view. The houses themselves are somewhat dated, but that did not bother us. Could be better insulated, with single glazing here and there.Beds are good. I can imagine if you pay the top price in high season, you expect more luxury. The two of us had a six-person house (dog-free), so you had plenty of space. Lots of crockery and that also seemed new. Excellent oven and microwave.Sanitary facilities and the like were clean. But first I removed some stains on the walls, doorknobs and chairs that had hair and dust hanging on them. That could really be better, but I always see everything 😆.There is not much culture in the area. We had to drive an hour each time to visit some things. The area is an El Dorado for walking.One disadvantage: the houses still have a fireplace. Unfortunately, these were used quite a lot, even on windless days, which made it very smelly in the park and we even had to close the windows in the bedroom. Not pleasant and disastrous for lung patients.

We are in a house. Neatly cared for and well maintained. It is useful to know to take basic items with you at the front of the kitchen. It is also useful to have a car available, many fun things can be reached in an hour or less

What a great house. We had a 2 person room with sauna and dog was welcome. (No.24)Beds neatly made. They had turned on the heater, so it was nice and warm when we arrived, the house was clean and complete. In short, great!Dutch TV channels, also very nice. Lidl and other shops are a few minutes' drive away.

Beautiful surroundings, houses on different levels, you have to climb some stairs to get there, nice to stay there for a short time, but with 6 people it is quite cramped, for example 1 frying pan

Beautifully landscaped campsite with spacious pitches and plenty of neat, clean and heated toilet blocks (paper and soap). Furthermore, there are rental tents, rental caravans, a reasonably priced restaurant, playgrounds, mini golf and playing fields. The indoor swimming pool has a children's pool and a lovely warm bubble bath. In high season the swimming pool is on the small side. Less: near the reception opposite the rental tents there are a number of permanent places with noise pollution! In addition, few water taps. We paid €24 (via internet) on September 17, 2024, including good WiFi. Extending costs €35, but if you make a new booking instead of booking, it costs €21 🤪

So far we have had 2-person luxury and two 4-person luxury. Last bungalow number 200. The park is beautifully located in the middle of a hill in the Eifel. The nature and surroundings are quiet and very beautiful, but there are challenges due to the gradients. If you are not so fit, you will quickly use the car to change places.The bungalows are old, but recently renovated. The cut is designed to use the rooms only for your purpose and to only stay in the kitchen/living room. The wide doors and the narrow hallway give it a little maze feeling.Unfortunately, the windows were not part of the renovation work. Some of them don't close properly and, depending on the room, they are very permeable to wind.The climate control is locked to 22°C. The building cools down very quickly in the evening and at night. This means you have an ice-cold toilet seat at night and in the morning it takes a long time for the cold to leave the walls. There is a radiator in the bathroom that acts as a towel rail. It's just no use if the climate control allows it to cool down again after 20 minutes. Anyone who uses the sauna intensively will quickly end up with a lot of damp towels that can only be dried outside when the weather is good. Due to the limited space, the radiator in the toilet was basically installed under the ceiling and was therefore pretty useless.The park is wonderfully quiet. Apart from the sporadic barking of dogs, you don't hear anything from neighbors or other park residents.Stadtkyll can easily be reached on foot if you dare to take the steep walk back to the park. The area around the park is dominated by forest and nature and is therefore ideal for switching off.
