We were at the country inn at the beginning of October. First of all, we'll be back! We have rarely been treated as warmly as we were here! Our room was completely sufficient and clean. The food was a dream. The area is wonderful for hiking. The operators are really nice and accommodating. Until next time 😊

Anyone driving through Gneißen MUST stop here! What a great inn with delicious tavern cuisine! Everything is freshly prepared and tastes incredibly good. The innkeepers are very nice, friendly and helpful. You immediately feel comfortable. We'd love to come back. Thank you for the wonderful time with you!!!

Cozy country inn with very friendly innkeepers. The food is indescribably good, nowhere else has it been so delicious. We have been coming here for many years and feel as comfortable as at home. Only recommended.

We had already booked 10 double rooms for April 23rd in October and ended up getting one of which, to say the least, was "a disgrace". A broom closet with a folding bed for €130. The other 4 rooms were pretty functional and the 5 others, well. The breakfast was standard, although we were kindly told that it would be opulent.

This is really one of the nicest places we got to know on vacation. The special thing here is the hospitality and the food. The evening “three course menus” are simply amazing.We love being here!

We booked a short vacation at the country inn “Zum Anleitner” with our little Bolonka girl. We can only recommend the inn. The food was great. We were allowed to take our Emma (dog) into the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. She really liked it and behaved very nicely. The size of the rooms is sufficient and everything is comfortable. We also used the balcony. The house is quaint, as is the restaurant.The operators of the inn are very nice and attentive.

We were there during the autumn holidays and it was a really relaxing holiday with Sonja and Günther. Both are super nice and respond to all guests' wishes. We were very surprised with the fresh breakfast buffet and the daily portion of cocoa for the son and every type of breakfast egg was prepared with love. There were recommendations for excursions and shopping at the farm butcher's shop, cheese dairy and bakery. My husband discussed the topic of cooking with Günther and learned something new. Thank you very much for these great days and best wishes

We were there for dinner. We called beforehand, which might not be necessary.There were enough places available.Friendly and warm welcome from the owners. Here the boss still cooks himself. A wide range of regional offerings on the menu.A dream for a northern German in Bavaria.The food came very quickly and was of very good quality. Prices here were a little above the usual local level. But still ok.Very rustic atmosphere in the restaurant, I liked it. Some parking spaces are available directly at the restaurant, otherwise there are more across the street.We'd love to come back.

We celebrated our wedding with Sonja and Günther this year after we were 100% impressed by the rehearsal dinner and also by the innkeepers, restaurant, etc. They are both so nice and warm. The hotel rooms are clean, the breakfast is very plentiful. And the food is to die for. Everything is fresh and homemade. Nothing from a can or a ready-made package. So if you really want to eat well, you definitely have to come here. The dining room with a tiled stove is extremely cozy and everything is so lovingly decorated. We always enjoy coming back 🥰

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and cleaned every day, each room also contains a double bed, a private bathroom with shower, a balcony and a flat screen. The breakfast is plentiful and very good depending on the location. You can also have dinner here, which I highly recommend, I have rarely eaten so well in a hotel. The location of the hotel is extremely rural, so if you want peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. It should also be mentioned that no network operator (neither Telekom, nor Vodafone, nor O2) has a network here and by that I really mean no network at all, no bar, no mobile surfing, no phone calls possible and here we are already at that The reason I only give 4 and not 5 stars: Lack of mobile phone network and WiFi, which unfortunately often breaks down. Of course the operators can't do anything about it, it's just so rural here that broadband expansion is a rather difficult issue here. However, if the WiFi network works fine, if you rely on a stable and good internet connection for work purposes, you should rent some parking lights.All in all, I have to say that the overall package here just fits, you feel comfortable and, as I said, the staff is extremely friendly and the food is good.

Super delicious food with fresh seasonal ingredients and a certain sophistication. Top-notch innkeepers. Very accommodating and extremely friendly. Here you can really say that you come as a stranger and leave as a friend. I'm already looking forward to the next time.
