As always, great food, regional and seasonal, with a small but fine menu. Nice, family service, very cozy atmosphere. Slow food, cooked with heart and the best ingredients and love!!

Dined in the restaurant, simply delicious. Vegetarian Maultaschen on a bed of vegetables, very tasty and plentiful. Cordon Bleu with fresh real potato fries is great. Fresh mixed salad with a fine raspberry vinaigrette is great.First of all, a greeting from the kitchen with fresh bread and cream cheese dip. Everything was consistent, price/performance was great and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very quaint and rustic, but anyone who likes that will feel comfortable there. We'd love to come back!

Older inn, small menu, food was good, unfortunately a wrong delivery, the service could be improved a lot, there was a greeting from the kitchen and at the end there was a degistif.

The two of us went here for dinner on a summer day! Sitting on the porch is really nice. Here you can eat “good bourgeois”, German cuisine as I knew it 50 years ago at slightly inflated prices. We were able to vary what we ate and it wasn't too expensive. We don't know how high the operating costs are. We encountered particularly good service and had a lovely evening.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Ehlener Poststuben and I can only say positive things! The cuisine is simply outstanding – every dish was a delight and the quality of the food was consistently impressive.Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the staff, who always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible.The rooms are perfectly equipped for hikers. After a long day on the hiking trails, I was able to relax wonderfully in a cozy and clean room. The beds are comfortable and ensure a restful night's sleep.All in all, a wonderful place to stay, especially for nature lovers and foodies. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Very lovingly furnished with small details that tell the story of the house. Very nice, attentive and competent staff with whom you can also have fun. Clean and tidy rooms. The food, the desserts and the schnapps selection are mega.

We ate very tasty food.The service was very good and extremely friendly and attentive.The menu is very clear and not overloaded.The prices are too cheap... yes, you read that right, more money could be charged for the quality offered.

Rustic room furnishings, unfortunately the showers are not very clean, breakfast is served at the table, second helpings are available upon request.The condition of the inn in the old half-timbered house is commensurate with its age. The outdoor terrace is also getting old. The innkeeper was super nice on the second day.

Solid kitchen performance, attentive service.The Viennese style schnitzel was in the pan for too short a time and didn't have the expected crispy breading. The fries served with it were also too short in fat. Very harmoniously seasoned side salad. Good presentation of lamb's lettuce with venison roast beef. Variations of venison and suckling pig steaks were delicious, as was the sauce, bread dumpling, red cabbage and savoy cabbage served with them. However, the side dishes overall could have been warmer. Great apple pancakes with vanilla ice cream. You should find out about the monthly changing small menu on the homepage before visiting. A little more order in the corridors to the guest rooms and in the anteroom (storage) to the toilets would be good for the otherwise cozy atmosphere.

Very affordable for what you get. Nice bed and a good shower. Also a chocolate on your pillow. The restaurant is nice and cozy and you can eat well. Breakfast is fantastic, not a gigantic buffet but as shown in the photo a personal table (there is also a table with chocolate pasta, muesli, etc.)
