Classic from the outside, tasteful and yet rural. The interior is more modern and very successful.Good menu, albeit clear. Food very tasteful and valuable.There is also a good selection of wine and beer.We recommend!

Small, family-run hotel. Good but by no means outstanding cuisine. The food selection is rather limited. The service and the entire ambience in the guest rooms are a bit old, but are in need of modernization.The rooms are modernly designed and very clean. Unfortunately there is no seating.The breakfast buffet is extensive, but lacking in details. For example, bread tongs, disposable gloves or sufficient cutlery are missing. The coffee is served in overly large cups and is sometimes not refilled in a timely manner.Booking and check-in a bit problematic because of late or missing feedback. No exact responsibilities or management structure recognizable.In summary, a thoroughly attractive Upper Bavarian hostel with development potential.

Went off the motorway on a Whit Monday and had lunch there.Beautiful, modern-looking restaurant with an inviting outdoor area to sit and eat.The menu offers traditional, regional country cuisine that is often combined with rather unusual, sometimes exotic-looking ingredients. We found it very interesting and our food was also tasty!We thought the extensive organic offering was great!♿ Very great: barrier-free access including toilets in the restaurant area!I can't say anything about the accessibility of the hotel or room because it wasn't used.

About the restaurant: We went there for dinner as a couple. The ambience inside seems very modern, the outside area is very well maintained and has a beautiful/quiet view. The food - we had two fried chicken with potato/cucumber salad - unfortunately couldn't keep up! The fried chicken had a tasty breading, but it was undercooked in several places. A request during the meal - none! When the waitress was made aware of this at the end, she reacted rudely. Unfortunately, this is not a quality for good service! The apple strudel was at least a nice consolation at the end.

Went there today just to eat ice cream because the beer garden was really nice and inviting. But we've never experienced anything like this before. The scoops of ice cream for 2.50 euros each were very small and then the cream on top for an additional 1 euro was a disgrace, it was just cheap spray cream that arrived on the ice cream as a collapsed broth. The eggnog we ordered was definitely not even a shot glass full for 2 euros and was still diluted with milk. Were there for the first and last time.

This evening we stopped in the beer garden of the Landgasthof Wagner. The outdoor area, like the rest of the inn, is very well maintained. The map also seemed extremely appealing at first glance. We are actually happy to pay the slightly higher prices - if the quality of the food and service is good. My husband and I both ordered the fried chicken with potato and cucumber salad. While the breading was very fresh and tasty, most of the chicken was barely edible as it was undercooked in many places. We would have liked to tell the waitress about this, but unfortunately she didn't show up. After we were finished (and had left some of the fried chicken), she finally asked how it tasted. We expressed criticism of the meat, but were then insulted as to why we hadn't said so straight away.Mistakes can happen in the kitchen, but for us it depends on how the service handles them. A prior inquiry as to whether everything was okay, more understanding of our criticism or perhaps an espresso on the house - all of this would have made us a little happier.For dessert we finally ordered an apple strudel, which was fine. Unfortunately our empty glasses were completely ignored.In the end we left the restaurant with a big bill but a bad feeling. It's a shame about the beautiful location and the actually great slow food approach.
